Wird morgen abend geguckt Freu mich schon drauf ihn mit paar Freunden zu sehen ??. Oh, die Wertung ist ganz schön hart. Bei mir trifft Shinkai einfach immer einen Nerv - seine Filme gehören für mich zum besten, was ich kenne. Aber bei einem Punkt muss ich Dir Recht geben: Ich fand Your Name auch stärker. There is no denying this is not anyone expected. Your Name is a good watch, because it was pure entertainment. This is something people would be talking for months, and maybe even years because of it's thought-provoking messages, meanings and symbolisms.

People say the plot was sloppy and weird but I felt it was way more real than Your Name. The characters have a reason for their affections. Instead of just "we are switching bodies and now I love you" this story has a way more well-developed and grounded love story. A lot of people really don't like the gun. However, I really liked the mere existence of it. It upped the stakes of everything, and during the scenes where Hodaka uses the gun, you can feel how conflicted and confused he is. Heck, the camera angle also change to his line of sight when it is used to aim. Did it have to be a gun? Not necessarily. Could it not exist? Definitely no. He was desperate, dug himself into a hole that he cannot come out of, chooses to keep the gun due to this desperation and fires it out of desperation. That's a big reason for him to keep, use and drop the gun. These are all choices made out of desperation by Hodaka which resulted in devastating results. The gun didn't need a reason to exist, it exists because it's a symbol of what being overly desperation could result it. Though I'd agree if it was more organic, it would have been absolutely perfect. I realise I already have way too much to talk about before I even talk about the audience-dividing and debatable ending. Shinkai admits he was challenging his viewers, What would you do? The ending is somehow open ended yet the plot ends there for people who are watching this movie as pure entertainment. It's incredible to appeal to two different types of audiences that well. The general consensus I see is most people connect with this story very well, especially the Japanese who are repeatedly fighting severe natural disasters. However, this connection seems to be as strong in not just Japan, but Hong Kong. I'm from HK and this movie is the literal reflection of everything in our society. Desperation, the possible future, the violent conflicts, it's pin-point accurate. Shinkai tells us that "This world was already messed up, so do whatever you feel is right! This and the lyrics of "We'll Be Alright" are literally imprinted into my brain. This is why I'm afraid when global audiences watch this after seeing all of these good reviews, they might be a bit let down because of this lack of emotional connection on the get-go. The amount of enjoyment you will get our of this depends on how much you like to think and how much can you relate to the environment in the movie. Watching it for pure entertainment will make you lose 90% of the enjoyment of the movie.

Omg my friend told me about this last year after I watched Your Name, now that they've made an English dub I HAVE to watch it ???. Your Name ist der beste Film. Die Handlung von Weathering With You - Das Mädchen, das die Sonne berührte Der Oberschüler Hodaka hat genug von seiner alten Heimat in der Einöde und beschließt nach Tokyo zu gehen. Was ihn da erwartet sind nicht nur eine Unmenge an Menschen und Impressionen, die ihn schier zu überwältigen scheinen, sondern auch Einsamkeit und Isolation. Das Leben in Tokyo ist zudem unheimlich teuer und so droht Hodaka langsam elendig zu verwahrlosen. Zum Glück findet er aber eine Anstellung als Redakteur. Das Magazin, für das er von nun an schreiben soll, ist allerdings etwas dubios und beschäftigt sich mit Okkultismus. Und wäre das nicht alles schon genug, erschwert ihm auch noch der nicht aufhörende Dauerregen seinen Neustart in der großen Stadt. All seine Probleme sind allerdings vergessen, als er dem Mädchen Hina begegnet. Hina ist aufregend und willensstark und wird sein komplettes Leben auf den Kopf stellen. Das Mädchen lebt bedingt durch familiäre Probleme alleine mit ihrem kleinen Bruder Nagi in Tokyo. Doch Hina umgibt ein ganz besonderes Geheimnis, denn sie besitzt die Gabe das Wetter zu beeinflussen. So kann sie durch ein einfaches Gebet gen Himmel, den dauernden Regen, der seit Hodakas Ankunft in Tokyo herrscht einfach beenden und strahlendes Sonnenlicht auf die Stadt herunter scheinen lassen. Dollar einspielte und damit zum weltweit erfolgreichsten Anime-Film avancierte, können wir nun gespannt sein, was ?Weathering With You“ für uns bereit hält. Nachdem sich der wohl erfolgreichste Anime-Regisseur der Ghibli Studios Hayao Miyazaki (?Prinzessin Mononoke“, ?Das wandelnde Schloss“) zur Ruhe gesetzt hat, wird seine Nachfolge gerade zwischen Makato Shinkai und Mamoru Hosoda (?Der Junge und das Biest“ ausgetragen. Mit ?Weathering With You“ könnte Shinkai also endgültig zum neuen unangefochtenen Meister der Animes werden. ?Weathering With You“ geht im nächsten Jahr nicht nur für den Oscar in der Kategorie Bester Animationsfilm ins Rennen, sondern kann vielleicht sogar mit einer Nominierung als bester fremdsprachiger Film rechnen. Dies hat zuletzt nur das Anime-Meisterwerk ?Prinzessin Mononoke“ von Altmeister Miyazaki vor über zwanzig Jahren geschafft. Bei uns startet der Film ab dem 16. Januar 2020 in den Kinos. Haltet euch aber ran, der Film wird ausschließlich am 16. und am 19. Januar 2020 in den Kinos zu sehen sein.
FYI the song is called We'll be alright by RADWIMPS. The Story, The Songs, The Characters, I love everything about this movie. I wanted to make a film that was just plain entertaining. You made a film that made me cry for 3 hours straight. Finde ich gut, dass du auch die häufig zu Unrecht schnell verurteilten Animes reviewst.

Im so confused wtf, I havent watched it yet, but this explanation just made me confused.

This anime reminds me of FUTURE DIARY ??. Thank God it ended happily. Tolle Review, ich freue mich auf sein neues Werk. PS: Sicherlich ist das selbsterklärend aber ich möchte hier nochmal dazu anregen, seine älteren Werke anzuschauen. Sicherlich nicht unbedingt kinotaugliche Filme aber dennoch gut um in das Genre reinzukommen: The Garden of Words, Children Who Chase Lost Voices (eher fantasylastiger) 5 Centimeter per Second (etwas langatmiger aber dennoch sehr romantisch und traurig) The Place Promised In Our Early Days (actionhaltiger und wissenschaftlicher angehaucht als andere) und Voices of a Distant Star (kürzer als andere aber dennoch sehr schön atmosphärisch.
Hat mir im großen und ganzen gut gefallen, hast versucht den Trailer ein bisschen zu deuten. Wunder mich nur warum genau bei anime on demand.
