Fritz squirmed in anguish on the ground, clutching his belly with one hand and desperately trying to pull himself away with the other. Amidst the fury that raged around him, he was dumbstruck for a moment? he hadn’t realized that the bayonet doesn’t instantly dispatch his enemies; that it’s a more intimate weapon that affords adversaries a moment of recognition, a look into the face of the other. In the coming months he would share this moment of recognition with the fascists many times. He would meet each with fire behind his eyes? each mouth contorted in agony, each gaze frozen in shock, each crease of skin etched by pain traced its genesis to that blaze within him. I dont get why people will hate this song. its soooooooooooo AMAZING. I will joke around about Muslims fucking 9 year olds and having 20 wives, or black people committing crimes and not having jobs, but none of that is based on hate. I have black friends and I tolerate, and most importantly UNDERSTAND Muslims. But when it comes to Americans, there's no excuse. The fact that mass shootings are regular and desensitised is beyond concerning. I'd get into details about other policies like health care, but that's something else, yet still a result of mass stupidity. American gun control is atrocious. The fact that people care more about their right to bare arms over the right to go to school or church without being murdered is shocking. It's engraved in their minds that being able to buy weapons capable of killing hundreds of people is a "human right". Well it's not, and the simple answer to the mass shooting problem is to simply emulate gun control the same way other counties have. They make excuses, saying it's not a gun issue, but rather a mental health issue. If that was so, how come other countries don't have near weekly mass shootings, despite also having mentally unwell citizens? Theres a whole debate to be had here, but time and time again stubborn Americans ignore the logic and continue their mass murdering ways. The second amendments purpose is redundant. You will NEVER be able to defeat the U. S. government with your personal firearms. You morons. You're constantly boasting about americas military being the most powerful in the world, and the fact that you think a militia of citizens could overtake it makes me think even less of your intelligence. This very fact, and all the other issues that have been proven successful in other countries but America still stubbornly opposes, I am racist towards American. Inspired by true events this film is truly uplifting, funny and sad, a true must see. Military Wives is as formulaic as movies go, regardless the film is surprisingly good and it uses the formula really well. However it never aspires to be anything else preventing it from becoming a classic amongst the genre.

I haven't been familiar with the true story but from the start, you just know where it is all gonna go. It still works well but nothing is a surprise because of that. It still has some great moments and a fair amount of heart It is seriously enjoyable and it is a likeable movie with a great cast. Kristen Scott Thomas and Sharon Horgan are great here. I'm sure there are many people who will like this film. I just can't see that much greatness in it. It's formulaic and does it's best to be a lovely and charming film but it does it in such a manipulative way, and I hate it when films do that. It is still worth watching though.
