The computer Im forced to use make all sounds sound like a tank of helium was added, so I cant judge your performance that much (but I think you put a little to much effort in there) just dont expect me to get this on DVD cuz I recorded it when they showed it on ovation tv (jap w. eng subs, which was better) but your voice sounded like a stereotypical gay guy, which fit the role great. Lol whaat. I enjoyed seeing Miss Hokusai. It's got the element of wonder/super natural and it portrays an imperfect artistic life-style/family situation that no Japanese person of the time would have celebrated. I find it fascinating that the most uncelebrated people of their time were always the artists, and yet it's not the prissy, fancy, wealthy nobles and their impact on history that we think about when looking back on history. Instead it's the creations of artists that define those periods, who we often think of most often and not any of the wealthy families. As an artist myself I appreciate the irony of who 'proper society' celebrates versus who history celebrates in the end.

Sometimes the voices on anime movies or TV shows can get really irritating, but not in "Tokyo Godfathers. The three main characters are voiced by Toru Emori, Aya Okamoto, and Yoshiaki Umegaki, and they really know what they're doing. Each three use their own talents to the max, and their styles and voices are all so different, that it creates a perfect contrast. "Tokyo Godfathers" is a near-perfect film. The story is heartwarming, fun, and at times, hilarious. The characters are easy to relate to, but very real. The animation is spectacular, and the acting great. This is a film that I highly recommend to anime fanatics, and anyone else that just loves good animation. This is always an emotional movie to me, more than many, so I FELT a lot of the intentions of the themes of light and wind, but the analytical and whole of it escaped me.
