I drew the pentagram on everything, from my school books to my already demented drawings. My friends and my girlfriend were freaked out - they all thought I'd gone too far. I began snorting more cocaine 'till I began tripping out, and my liver was like the Pacific Ocean by all the beer I guzzled down. I was beginning to get tired; tired of sinning and rebelling. I use "it" because I couldn't tell if it was a male or female. Or. did it have gender at all? I jumped back and yelped, almost knocking my own self out as I slammed the back of my head against the closet door. The shadowy creature seemed to notice my shock and spoke, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. It's voice was unlike anything I could ever imagine. It sounded like both a man and a woman speaking in unison, making the thing even more creepier. I also realized that it spoke with a French accent, which I didn't bother noticing until now. Apparition 2015 watch online. ( turns on nofail. I had some issues with Twilight tour's jump/shortcut because of how awkwardly close to the wall it was placed and barely touching the wall would ruin all your momentum and therefore ruin your possibility to make the next lap with blue fire. Admittedly it was much harder on the Switch because of that horrendous fps drop happening at that exact part of the track (which I feel has been fixed with the last update? I didn't felt a significant enough fps drop when I played the track online earlier, so fingers crossed. Anyway we just got our second brand new track added to the game and honestly I think it's a really well done track but it also shows the limits of the engine even more in many places. Four particular examples are really irritating but it's arguable that there's more places on the track with real annoying issues. It's not just this track which has that kind of issues but coincidentally Beenox crafted a track which pretty much has all the different problems the engine can bring all at once which is a bit awkward. I'll detail the four worst offenders in their order of apparition in the track for clarity sake. The bloody rock on the left side of the track just before the first super turbo jump pad at the start of the race has some really obnoxious hitbox detection and forces you to make some really awkward drift in the opposite direction to be sure not to hit it weirdly while keeping your reserve intact. I personally got used to it after a couple of races but it's still a really good cases of very strange hitbox of rocks on the side of the track like many other tracks can have. The first shortcut shortly after the super turbo pad on the right side of the track (where you need to have blue fire speed to even reach it. This one is by far the worst issue I have with this track for three reasons. First the shortcut feels very inconsistent to reach because of how blue fire animation works where you basically lose blue fire speed before its animation ends which in this very specific case means that you can be in the air with the blue fire showing on your exhaust pipes but not having blue fire speed leading you to not have enough speed and fall in the pit like a dumbass. I really wish they made it so that you instantly lose blue fire animation the moment you lose the blue fire effect it's already bad in other tracks but in this one the precise placement of the super turbo pad just before the shortcut makes it so you can very frequently arrive at this point thinking you have blue fire when you actually don't because you didn't built enough reserve (which ties into the 1st problem with that bloody rock making it obnoxious to build reserve in the first place. The second issue with this shortcut is that the payoff is really underwhelming. You do gain a bit of time but it's really super minimal. Yes you get wumpa fruits at the end if you don't miss the crate but it's hard to justify taking that risk considering the first point when the payoff is so low. It's also worth noting that not attempting the shortcut allows you to have a much easier time building reserve right before by taking the left jump pad for example or simply having a cleaner drift line before the jump as you're jumping on your left instead of your right. The third problem with this shortcut and by far the most annooying one is once again the clunky engine sometimes breaking your blue fire as you land on the shortcut path because of some weird interaction with the up-hill path and the rocks. Again it's not the only place in the game where such issue happens but this place is really easy to lose all your momentum because of how steep the incline is and how narrow the area is as well. Again it makes it very risky to attempt the shortcut because even if you succeed taking it you have the risk of losing blue fire and just have sacred fire instead which basically make you lose the entire lap at high level of play since the speed difference is really high and blue fire is really easy to maintain for the rest of the track anyway. The third problematic area of the track is the second shortcut. It's arguably the less problematic of the four issues I have with this track but I still think it's problematic enough to be mentioned. To put it simply it feels like the visuals of the ground are not alligned with the actual geometry of the piece of dirt just before the jump you need to make to take the shortcut on the bones. It looks like you'll have a lot of vertical momentum because of the incline but in fact you really have barely at all and your timing needs to be fairly precise if you don't want to miss the jump and fall. Again it's not the only track having this issue and I'd say that both Polar Pass and Blizzard Bluff have the same problems with their shortcuts (the one with the boost pads in Polar Pass and the jump over the river in Blizzard Bluff in particular. Out of Time first shortcut over the fence is the closest one that comes in mind where it's really hard to have any idea which part of the track can give you enough vertical momentum and it's easy to see how problematic it is when online at least a quarter of people ends up against the fence helpless while they would make the gap much more easily if the visuals matched the engine closely. I don't think this is Sewer Speedway level of problematic though as it's honestly not that hard to make the leap but I still think it could use some rework to at least make it visually more coherent to what the actual engine geometry of the place. Either make it entirely flat or inclined but not a weird in-between. Cortex Castle small shortcut works with similar ideas and is a lot more satisfying because you can really clearly identify how to take it. The last issue is very simple and unfortunate. In the last portion of the track during the long turning section to go to the last incline with the boosts the inside part of the turn has some rock formations that should in all logic be solid but for some funny reason you are counted as if you feel in a pit if you touch that part. I really don't see why this was chosen and again it's not the only track with very strange situation like that as Polar Pass infamous last fence has the similar problem where touching it instantly warp you back on land as if you fell in a pit. Here it's really obnoxious because there's no logical reason for it to be counted as pit. I'd rather have no rock formation at all and a sharper edge so I can clearly see when I'm about to fall or not that this weird situation. The other obivous solution is simply to make the rocks solid but I would imagine that was not made because they are not flat, making them behaving flat would cause clipping with the wheels in some instances I would imagine and making them match their geometry in terms of engine would create some really absurd jumps and loss of momentum that would be even worse. So I'd say remove the rocks and make the borders a bit sharper, or just change the rocks slightly to work as a flat surface at least from above while the part below keeps the rounded shape. I sincerely hope that at least some of theses problems will get polished/fix in future updates, especially the point 2 and 4 as they both are really misleading and you can lose the race because of it when you have done nothing wrong technically (in both cases you are on solid ground normally and drive properly. Not only that but I hope that next tracks created will be tested more and watched more closely to avoid such basic geometry issues. Point 4 in particular feels really cheap and like the track wasn't tested at all or something, point 2 is borderline in the same category as it's really easy to lose all momentum for no apparent reason while at the same time harder to be in that place to begin with. This is meant to be a constructive/positive message to improve the game in the future so if anyone has constructive things to say please go ahead but avoid the nonsensical rant about the state of the game, I'm the first to hate how many things are going really wrong with this game but giving some constructive feedback is the best place to start to actually make things better, so let's try to do that for a change. The matrix is likened to some ego fashioned substructure mechanistically oriented as sort of a programming simulation entry with its procedural ins and outs as it's to be is a definite programmable quality involved within it which can be hacked and glitched to one's or even whoever's likings. the mind is seated at the heart of it all and not really of materialistic architecture but seated at the ethereal playing field. to me the matrix computer kind of exists as some photographic-like representation from the first-person point of view of the overlooking seer. the phenomenon of sight and perception can essentially be separated philosophically from the biological substrate. whether by means of some divinely interventional working of the ego or demonic-like coherence. through dreams you can traditionally enter a quasi-reincarnation tunneled apparition modality every night upon one's very own individual wishes for whatever drama show the soul can dream are adheringly painted representations formed in the likeness of any actual setting found conjunctionally during the waking state at any given may possibly even be as a dream within a dream within another dream infinitely regressed in theory. these painted representations during any dream sequence are consciously pursued and experienced within the infinite mind IMO; you can be living any sort of life played here during these dream imagined worlds without it having to be lucidly experienced per may still be of a purely realistic quality as the woken man beholding the very outer facade of his own house in broad daylight. paramatered settings may be altered in which the system immerses oneself lucidly (where you know you're dreaming. this to me is truly how the system/matrix is operated mechanically and visually. any experienced life situation or hypothetically hallucinatory imagining is possible during one's dream system snoring away in his/her's bed after night. idealistically everything is mind and everything material may be and can be mental alone with no self-sustaining newtonian physically existing entity about in the quad in the very every science such as medicine, physics, biology, chemistry etc as being completely dubious-doubtful- and of a precisely false character in all that they are entailed to arithmetic and geometry holds some fondful truth-abiding merit and solid-state reality to them. the matrix easily becomes a dream within a dream within another finitely regressed forever. an active game is where you mix optimal pleasure-seeking inducement combined with nightmaric phantasms and stumbling blocks upon the sought through road me that is the intrinsic fun of it all. mind/soul is eternal and infinite albeit mysterious when one wishes to inquire to himself. the meaning of it all is who you've always perceived yourself to be as a soul/individual. political systems of governance and powers are all metaphysical representations of the individual law enforcement, the church, the education system, the government, the scientific community, all us in disguise. the system is implemented to one's divine liking. in dreams cities are envisioned and immersed into enchantedly as the wizard conjures and witnesses it... civilization is truly a treasure, a work of art indeed. culture is an the mystifying abrupt future is what is to be unboxed eagerfully on x-mas day. I know that there are several Matrix-associated films out there to The Matrix, but also its contenders like Dark City, The Thirteenth Floor, Vanilla Sky, and Inception. I've seen the matrix, thirteenth floor, and inception already... I'll have to re-watch inception again though since it was way back in 2010 when I'd first seen it in the I'd love to re-watch it online again sometime to better fully understand it lol. Basically I know that all these sorts of movies have that metaphysical underlying root to them in regards to the core philosophy and architecture of it all. I believe that it pretty much starts with the Cartesian/Descartian-based system and methods of philosophy/metaphysics/science/epistemology/ Descartes is pretty much the founder of modern science and western philosophy in the whole spirit of literary tradition and everything, where he places the mind and consciousness above any and all kinds of materialism or newtonian physics worldview of universal working knowledge and mechanistically-based kinds of physics or explanations/extrapolations. Descartes' philosophy often lineates into the various Buddhist/Hinduism/Eastern perspectives concerning life/soul/universe/ego etc I believe. The Matrix films actually relates strongly to simulation theory where it's much more materialistically-oriented at the the 'brain-in-a-vat' thought experiment and hypothesized assumptions of human biological entities being capable of conjoining with some virtual reality kinds of simulation by biological brain/wetware electrical stimulation through goliath supercomputer sci-fi technologies even possibly sourcing the very lifesource from some higher alien-like form of intelligence or superpower. Cartesian reasonings on the other hand tends to be way more dualistic in intrinsic nature where mind is unequivocally separated metaphysically from the body/brain/ is where it tends to get all voodoo, supernatural, religious, idealistic, and magical, etc. Descartes argues that if one cannot even begin to distinguish dream from reality, then how can he even know that he wasn't really asleep in bed right now dreaming his life away as opposed to doing whatever it was he thought he was doing at any given moment in time lol... Anyways I think it's all science and philosophy explains how the world works, and a means about for how one may possibly desire to conduct his/her's individual life and societal condition. To me, some people just want to have fun, maximize their net pleasure, and orgasm their nuts off, which def be a principle of hedonistic nature and Greek cultural doctrine fo sho. While others would rather safe bet with the actual odds(look up Pascal's Wager on God's existence. belief in God is reasoned to be a good bet, essentially with nothing to really lose in the long haul of death and the reaper lol. Others wholeheartedly reject this conceptualization for having to bow down to any other supremely divine deity other than themselves alone, positing their beliefs for being much more anti-religious in meaning... Many fall head-over-heels in love with their chosen path or career of endeavor and some were meant to be artists in their own eyes, while others musicians, bankers or clowns, scientists, doctors, lords and librarians, or even God in the that truthfully be who they perceive themself to be. I'm not sure if I've ever fully 100% agreed with _any_ scholar regarding my sometimes I'll agree like 70% with them, or 90% with them etc etc lol Well anyways I believe that as human beings were are in the regular habit of sleeping like in bed at night every instance we doze off to dream. and anything found during the waking state of being "awake" is possible in a dream. Astonishingly, dreams are indistinguishable from reality, and life can easily become a dream where nothing at all is real, where no actual materialist physical objects ever really existed in that imagined up conjured world... The concept of "God" to me could be an 'innate' one, a substance/idea human culture has evolved to realize into or even from a very young age to adhere to. Maybe one reason why us human beings are riddled with these imperfections unbeknownst to such a substance as like "God. because it fabricates a more 'active' game/gameplay for players in the matrix "simulation" like for instance possessing unlimited omnipotent powers from the very start might very well get very boring along the ride the whole way through and through; I believe that an element of struggle could be intrinsically optimal to instantiate a quality/class of entertainment in the video game of life lol. Men & women of all walks of life and religions are often involved in this very habit of prayer and want of desire for divine-like interventions in hopes of rehabilitating and/or curing the ails of their societally naturalistic world-confined we summon the magic of the gods/God, demons, and supernatural energies-entities etc etc. As for me, meaning and purpose is viewed through the lens of my own uniquely individualistic singular 'perspective. utopia" won't be the same for every single human being, if you first take into account whether other minds ever really existed in the first place lol( the problem of other minds" solipsism" as this Cartesian dilemma is known as in the philosophical circle.

There's two parts to this theory, the first is a pretty common idea, the second is my own spin on it. I've also put some bonus ideas at the end. I'm going to use the name Friend for the character that Elliot and Mr Robot talk to when they do voice-overs, a character that seems to adopt the perspective of the viewer. Here are some clues I think are important: Mr Robot has started talking to Friend, but he seems to be wary. He doesn't entirely trust Friend. Elliot himself has expressed mistrust at times. When Elliot is dragged out of the honey trap room, the camera watches him through computer screens at the doorman's desk. It's a little like the shot is revealing Friend?the watcher?by revealing the existence of a TV audience. The character who gives Elliot the overdose is played by Esmail himself. A storyteller participating in the story has the same "meta" quality as a viewer entering the story, so this could be Friend. He also calls Elliot, friend" as if to reciprocate Elliot's name for him. Price never mentions Elliot's overdose. At the end of episode 2, when Mr Robot and Elliot are becoming aware of the third personality, the camera angles change to adopt a third-person perspective. We're not in the omniscient perspective of an ordinary TV viewer?we're another character in the room, watching them argue. They look like they could turn to look at us at any moment. We were hit over the head by the imagery of a big white glowing cross in that scene, especially when Elliot shouts "Jesus Christ. Other commenters have pointed out the father/son/holy ghost parallel and it makes complete sense to me, especially since death & resurrection are a major theme in the story. (The "ghost in the machine" is a common metaphor for AI consciousness and, of course, a robot is a machine. In short I think there's a huge amount of evidence here that the third personality is an invisible spirit/audience character that Elliot calls Friend. This is the first part of the theory and many other commenters have speculated the same thing. This is where I start drawing my own conclusions. I think Esmail played the part of Friend when he gave Elliot the overdose. This means Elliot gave himself the overdose, or at least imagined he did. The men who wrestle Elliot back to his house are oddly silent and they seem to reappear like an apparition when Elliot is revived. When Esmail made his cameo in S01E01 he was also accompanied by silent men in dark clothes so I suspect these "men in black" are agents of Friend's personality; they aren't real. The biggest problem with this idea is that it implies that Esmail will play a starring role later in the series. We have quotes from Esmail saying that he blinked a lot and his one line took 30 takes. He's not an actor. So how will this holy spirit/Friend character be portrayed? This is the second part of my theory. My speculation is that this character doesn't have one single face. It disguises itself as different people at different times. For example, I think the doorman in the empty building was Friend. He had quite eccentric behaviour and was watching Elliot on TV screens. The Samoan guy was more than enough security for an empty building?and was doing what you'd expect security to do in an empty building, chatting to friends online. This has an interesting consequence. If Friend can appear in multiple guises, he could have appeared in the guise of another character. There could be scenes where we see someone talking to Elliot (Mr Robot, Tyrell, Darlene, Angela, Whiterose) but it's actually a conversation between Elliot and Friend. Bonus ideas just to get them out there: I've always been suspect of Mr Sutherland, he introduces himself as Mr X (misdirects. I wonder whether Friend sometimes comes in the guise of Mr Sutherland. Sutherland makes an appearance when Elliot's in prison so he can't be entirely a fictional character. What if some of the voiceovers we hear are actually Friend talking to Elliot, not the other way around. There are times when Elliot talks to us and then takes action. What if it's actually Friend talking to him, making him think a certain way, leading to Elliot's action.

Descartes' philosophy often lineates into the various Buddhist/Hinduism/Eastern perspectives concerning life/soul/universe/ego etc I believe. The Matrix films actually relates strongly to simulation theory where it's much more materialistically-oriented at the the 'brain-in-a-vat' thought experiment and hypothesized assumptions of human biological entities being capable of conjoining with some virtual reality kinds of simulation by biological brain/wetware electrical stimulation through goliath supercomputer sci-fi technologies even possibly sourcing the very lifesource from some higher alien-like form of intelligence or superpower. The concept of "God" to me could be an 'innate' one, a substance/idea human culture has evolved to realize into or even from a very young age to adhere to. Maybe one reason why us human beings are riddled with these imperfections unbeknownst to such a substance as like "God. because it fabricates a more 'active' game/gameplay for players in the matrix "simulation" like for instance possessing unlimited omnipotent powers from the very start might very well get very boring along the ride the whole way through and through; I believe that an element of struggle could be intrinsically optimal to instantiate a quality/class of entertainment in the video game of life.
