Ok, I read the book and I got the basic gist of it. I can't say I understood fully what was going on since theres so many different terms and stuff going on. But fine. I decided after reading I would watch the movie. and honestly I only managed to get like 30 min in before shutting it off. I honestly couldnt get through I rarely turn off movies. I usually try and get through it and find some merit in it. but I just couldnt. It was a mixture of being bored out of my mind, it being very weird, it being cheesy, bad special even the acting wasnt very good. I dont know how to describe other than it sounding like Kyle McLachlan was doing a community play for the first time. Do you know what I mean? Like it sounded very theater-esque but just not good. Too much narration as well. I might still give the upcoming Dune movie a try because its Denis Villeneuve, and so far I have really liked what he's done.

Well i just saw the movie on DVD, that i bought. OK it's a movie from year 1984, great special effects at this time, but i didn't enjoy watching the movie, because lack of professional acting. By the way i read the book first, and i liked book better. Many important facts from the book, where unnoticed. I still wait for movie what completely understands the book. I played years ago computer game Dune, and there i felt like in book.I apologise for my bad English, because it's not my first language, and thats why i can't express myself the way i want. So i could continue my review in estonian, but i don't think that many people could understand it.
