Stanley Kubrick did his homework when he directed this movie. Boot camp was exactly as portrayed, I know because I was there. Were they jews or slavs. Thank you sir for your service. You are greatly appreciated. Pesado, sujo e hostil. Movie Gel ve gorgeous. Movie Gel ve gorge. The village scene. enough said. This is a war movie unlike any other I have seen. What makes this movie different from other war movies that have been produced recently, is that this movie relies on its sheer power and message to move the viewer as opposed to blood, gore and explosions. This is not to say that the movie does not have any substantial explosions or scenes that would certainly keep you up at night, the scene that comes to mind for me is the burning barn scene. Yet the beauty and genius lies in the way the director Elem Klimov demonstrates restraint in what he shows his audience. By leaving certain things for the audience to make out for themselves, he makes this movie much more painful yet powerful.

During the Second World War, Flor, a young Byelorussian boy finds a buried gun from WWI near his village, which allows him to take part in the war. Against his mothers wishes, he leaves her and his two younger sisters to take part in what he thinks will be an amazing and enjoyable adventure. Yet in reality he is walking into a traumatizing experience that will forever change and age him both psychologically and physically. We follow him throughout a series of painful experiences that would leave anybody scarred for the rest of their lives. Just observing all of the horrid things this poor young boy had to survive through made me cringe. Towards the end I felt so emotionally and mentaly drained that I found myself wishing that Flor would finally just be allowed to die so he would not have to suffer anymore. Overally an excellent film.

Movie Gel ve g.r.l. Movie Gel ve góry. The brigade was so brutal even other Waffen SS units though that probably had more to do with their low level of discipline frequent violent confrontations among themselves and the difficulty in controlling individuals with a criminal division in combat usually did well despite sustaining high casualties that probably explains why it survived until the end of the it didn't perform any feats of wonder in combat but it didn't actually disintegrate as other units.

Requiem for a dream was unlike any film I've ever watched. It was not exactly a horror film, but it was so haunting and so disturbing. Just thinking about it gives me the chills. I've seen a lot of trailers. This one packs more punch in 73 seconds than anything I've seen before. Most epic ss moments. Movie Gel ve gordon. Wanted this devastating masterpiece in my BluRay collection for a long time. Hurry up & get it out there, Criterion. Movie Gel ve g.r.i.t. I think Kids (1995) should get an honorable mention. The party scenes at the end are unforgettable and I'd rather not see it again. Movie Gel ve g r a f. Movie Gel ve got. Oh wow, this movie is actually called Come and See. Absolutely brilliant, beautiful film. Been subbed to you for ages, but never knew you covered it. Klimov should be up there with Tarkovsky and Shepitko as the GREAT Russian directors. Movie Gel ve g.r.a.c. Movie Gel ve gore. One of the best war films ever made. I managed to secure my own copy of this film.
