Full Movie The Wolf houra. As promised, here is my fansub of Promare. I believe I'm the first person to release fansubs for this movie. v1. 5 Screenshot Clip I know I've released a lot of versions, but I'm really happy with 1. 5 so I think I'll leave things here. How to use? Download the file off Pastebin (using the download button) and rename it from to My release ONLY includes subtitles, I am not including any pirated video content. In order to use these fansubs you will need a copy of Promare on Blu-ray or DVD. Use MakeMKV to rip a copy (in most countries you are legally allowed to do this, as long as you don't distribute your copy) and open it in a good video player (VLC or MPC-HC work great! ). Then locate the option in your player to load a subtitle file (in VLC this is Subtitle > Add Subtitle File) and load the file. In order to get the full experience of these subtitles you will need the following fonts installed: Beethoven Candara Bold ITC Avant Garde Gothic LT Medium ITC Avant Garde Gothic LT Medium Caps Is this a virus? It's literally just text, you can preview the full contents on Pastebin before you download it. It's safe. Can you give some more details about these subs? The script is based on the GKIDS subs shown in cinemas, but with numerous improvements. Everything has been completely re-timed from scratch and should (mostly) align with scene boundaries. Mostly these subtitles don't have any fancy formatting, but I included a few surprises during some of the more energetic scenes. I hope you enjoy them. Muxing instructions If you want to watch the movie on Plex or share it on a USB stick, the best way to do so is to remux it with the subs and their required fonts. You don't need to do this if you're just watching on your own computer, the "How to use? " instructions above are enough. These instructions just make everything into a single file. 1. First, obtain raws. The best way to do this is to use MakeMKV to rip the Blu-ray. This will generate a bunch of MKV files, look for whichever one is largest (>30GB! ) and this will be the main movie track. To make it easier to find, rename this file 2. Obtain the fansub. Download it and rename it so it has the file extension. 3. Gather required fonts. It's CRUCIAL to get them in format, as this is all that Matroska () supports. (Note that the font pack that someone kindly uploaded actually has the wrong versions of a couple of fonts) You'll also need and, you can find these in C:/Windows/Fonts. 4. Open PowerShell and navigate to the directory that your raws, subs and fonts are in. Release Comparison I've used Anime Tosho to look into a few packaged releases. So far they are all based on my subs (my subs have some differences from the GKIDS script that are present in all releases I've inspected). Sensual 's release includes v1. 0 of these subs, but for some reason they attempted to convert from to and it's broken a fair bit. I can't make a account, but I'd love if someone can post a comment explaining this fact, I don't want people to have their enjoyment reduced due to this mistake. CarpenterRabbit 's release is based on v1. 1 of these subs, but has removed all my formatting and added song lyrics. Their subs use the 'Blowhole' font but their release has not included this as an attachment. Leeson 's release is based on v1. 1 of these subs, but has removed all my formatting. KudouUsagi 's release claims it's not based on my subs, but this is a lie. It's based on v1. 1 of my subs and includes the same mistakes, such as the duplicated "the" at 1:27:33. 36. It's actually just a slightly updated version of CarpenterRabbit's release (CarpenterRabbit's release mentions Kudou in the subtitle file). The Blowhole font still isn't included. I wouldn't mind if KudouUsagi had used my subs without credit, but the fact they are now actively lying about it really rubs me up the wrong way. CosmicDuck 's release says it's based on v1. 2 of these subs, but it's actually based on KudouUsagi's subs. It package's all the fonts required for my subs but then doesn't use them. I imagine they mistakenly included the wrong subs file. Beatrice-Raws ' release uses KudouUsagi's modified version of my subs AND includes fonts correctly. If you like karaoke and don't want the fancy effects that I spent heaps of time on, this is the release for you. But because it's still based on v1. 1 of my script, it's still riddled with errors. PromareDayOne 's release is by me. Because I got tired of waiting for a competent release group. ScenikEight 's release does not use my subs. It's based on the GKIDS script but the uploader says they went through and altered every line to be more faithful to the original Japanese. I don't speak Japanese so I can't do a fair comparison, but this sub is definitely worth checking out.
Oww, my heart! How did no one know JARETH. Hello again everyone. TLDR @ Bottom. Before I begin, I know some of you that have read my posts before have been critical of my gaming groups. That's fair and good, but I'll ask that you please be gentle at the moment as I'm still pretty traumatized at the moment. This happened this saturday. Context: I run a Saturday pen and paper group of White Wolf 20th Anniversary. It's my previously mentioned friends WarmIce, Aaron my roommate, my husband, and a relatively new player we'll call Tom. Recently I was officially diagnosed with short-term-memory loss disorder. It's borderline dementia at this point, doctors are looking into it. I can forget details of a conversation minutes after I say them. In game terms that means that I can introduce an NPC like Carl the Werewolf. I'll then try to remember the character's name, or details about the conversation. If I do back to back sessions over many days I can forget entire scenes. On worse days, I will actually forget whole days of my life. I'll retain knowledge of big things I did, or at least be able to piece them together (like if I went to the store I'll see the shopping bags and stuff) what I did. Lastly, when I was 5 my parents got into a nasty divorce, and we were moved from Los Angeles to Portland so my dad could divorce my mother and not have to pay alimony and he could continue his commercial helicopter business. The only job my mother could get at the time was working as a dishwasher/cook in a nursing home at the shittiest hours you could imagine. This meant often she wouldn't be able to find babysitters and we would have to wait for her to get off work by playing in the common room of the home. There were all kinds of patients with dementia and even Alzheimer's. One time I was utterly traumatized when a woman with Alzheimer's recognized me as her son (to be fair in the pictures I looked VERY similar), and yanked me into her room to scold me for playing hooky from school. Her son tragicly died in a car accident in 1952, and she had no idea. Seeing what these wonderful people went through made me very very afraid of this ever happening to me. The Event: The group was all settling in, and everyone was situating themselves in the in-game setting. Tom's character the week before, had to stop by The Prince's Mansion (He's playing a Ventrue Vampire who's age seems to go up 20 years each week) to explain why the group had blown up a mansion full of mages only 6 blocks from his estate. He hadn't come back to speak to Kendrix, the NPC quest giver yet. When he finally did arrive, his character was pissed at events that had happened to him while at the Prince's, so he was very cranky when the time had come to interrogate the mage the party had brought back for questioning. Now, the party had already questioned her, and we're going to wait for Tom to get back to ask his questions. This was 2 hours or so in game time. The NPC Mage was asked questions by Tom about her knowledge pertaining to her master's activities. I had forgotten everything she had said, and I gave answers that were the entire opposite of what she gave Tom due to my memory lapse. WarmIce begins to suggest the NPC stop lying in her own friendly way, as since her character was a frigging Were-gator that literally broke down the wall like the Kool-Aid man and annihilated the entire coven all-but single-handedly she was doing her best to comply. This went on for about 15 IRL minutes before Aaron decided to pause the scene and point out I must have forgotten what happened. He very politely and gently told me I forgot and explained. WarmIce and Husband also did this. Tom wasn't physically there the week before so he couldn't say for one way or another. I was visibly and mentally embarrassed at my lapse, and said that I was going to walk the scene back and redo the scene. I apologized for my moment. Tom laughs and casually says, "But Damion, that's half the fun of it! It's like an adventure! " I was shocked, and hurt. He laughed and I didn't know what to say. I'm a hard person to make speechless, but he had me tongue-tied. "I don't think this is funny Tom. I don't think my condition is funny. " He then proceeds to say that by having things like this happen it was like having a flashback in a TV show, Movie Series, or Book show things differently. He asked me if I had read Steven King's books and tried to compare my disability to his writing style I - was - devastated. I do these games for mine and my friend's enjoyment, and I was absolutely not having fun. I remembered what some of you had said about not letting shit slide, and I thought about getting up out of my wheelchair, grabbing my jacket and keys and just leaving and driving home and having Husband and Aaron bring my chair home later. I was choking back tears as Tom tried to argue how my disability was a fun experience for him with the other players who clearly saw I was upset. Aaron came to the rescue once more and reminded me that I was in the middle of saying something, interrupting Tom's rant to tell me that I was trying to walk the scene back. I decided like my favorite song of all time by Queen, The Show Must Go On 's lyrics say, "Inside my heart is breaking, my makup may be flaking, yet my smile still goes on. " And I carried on. I went home, got on an MMO, and pretty much proceeded to cry. I haven't cried in a very long time, but my condition has me so depressed that I honestly just wanted to go to bed, or possibly even the extreme of just retiring from DM'ing. But, Aaron and Husband were able to talk me down, and help me out. TLDR: I suffer from memory loss. I had an episode during a game session and one of my players decided to call my disability fun, an adventure, and compared it to the writings of Steven King.
