Don't expect any smart plot twists or a complicated storyline. This one is a straightforward creature flick, it's alright for a fun night.

Darklight is a magic sword created from the sword Silverlight during the Shadow of the Storm quest. In that quest, Silverlight is transformed into Darklight after being dyed with black mushroom ink and then being used to destroy the demon Agrith-Naar, which coats it in ichor. In addition, being that it is still made of silver, it is effective against vampyres. Both Silverlight and Darklight can be mounted on the wall of a Quest Hall in a player-owned house at 42 Construction. If lost, Darklight can be repurchased from Sir Prysin in Varrock Palace for 1, 000 coins. Note: Darklight can only be replaced if all Silverlights are dropped. Passive effect Against non-demonic enemies, Darklight is a fairly weak weapon with bonuses equivalent to that of a steel longsword. Ok, this little movie here started absolutely great, amazing execution for such a production, lovely tension build up, and managed to keep up this fast pace for quite a while. But the last part, it is quite disappointing actually, perhaps there was less room for imagination and they had to settle for an ending that did not deliver, created huge plot holes and had the viewer genuinely asking, What is happening and why?

Dark Light managed to create a tiny world for itself, with its own rules, but most of it went down the drain once the third act came in place, and I can't stop wondering how things derailed so much. I am still going to recommend it for it is an effort far better than most, even tho it feels like a let down in the very end, it does deserve more attention and perhaps some praise as well. In the future, I hope the people involved in the making of Dark Light, take some extra time in order to offer their next projects a more constant tone, till the credits show up. Cheers.

I found it very interesting and entertaining at the same time. A hurricane hits Sanibel Island prior to the beginning of the story. Things are not the usual at Dinkin's Bay Marina. An old boat, named Dark Light is discovered after the hurricane. The boat is from the WW2 era and the mystery surrounding the boat begins to unfold. History comes alive. From Nazi prisoner camps in Florida, lost loves and artifacts from the German Nazis. We This was a very different chapter in the Doc Ford series. We learn that Hannah Smith's house on Gumbo Limbo has been demolished and is now becoming Indian Harbor Marina. After all these years, Arlis reappears during the story. Thoughts and longing for Hannah come alive in Doc. One of Dinkin's Bay regulars comes to his demise during the story. The mystery is solved and Jeth, Tomlinson and Doc find some very valuable items aboard Dark Light. During the Epilogue, Randy eludes to the next book titled Hunter's Moon. All in all, this is a well written book that keeps you wanting to get to the last page, but found myself not wanting the story to end as I approached the final pages... Both are smart and take care of themselves, each other and their friends. There seem to be two stories going on, but they are intertwined. There are some Wisconsin mob guys down taking advantage of the last hurricane's destructive path. Doc wants to set them straight after the mob guys take on some of Doc's buds. Why does the whole light behind the house remind me of cloverfield lane. Take me back to the 90s and leave me. This is world has gone completely insane.??. Have to mention the billing on he film is strange. Obviously the top billing should be listed as Jessica Madsen who carries the film. The film needed better character development of the ex husband and police and the conspiracy theorist

The cinematography and production is very good. Good, scary atmosphere. Because the idea is good, it should have been more epic. instead, a movie that should have been a big hit and needs sequels, might nit get that chance. It relies too much on more standard scares and action, when it could have been more in depth with it's premise. Jessica Madsen was very believable.
