? Duyên n? ông xe ôm và cô gái 16 năm l?u l?c trong hành trình tìm gia đình. Here is my comment from about a year a go: It could be a bloodbath but not likely. Mostly likely the military (led by Gaid Salah) or the intelligence wing (led by General Mediene) would take over and then put their own "civilian government" into power. The military is now stronger than the Medien faction and the recent dismissal of heads of military regions (including the dissmissal of General Hamel linked to the 700Kg of cocaine arriving in an Algerian port), might suggest resttructuring the military power hierarchy to prepare for a post Boutef era. We have seen instances where the intelligence services acted outside of Boutefs authority like with the Sonatrach corruption probe that is rumored to have led to Boutef's stroke. Furthermore, we are seeing some tension with the with the military wing and the "Business elite" represented by the likes of Tahkout, Haddad and of course Boutef's bro - my view, many people would have to die before Said replaces his brother. The military doesn't respect him and they would be dead before they had over the country to someone like Said, after they fought hard against the it seems like the military would orchestrate a soft coup by further cleansing the intelligence service of any Medien Remanent (Tartag will probably be gone). Then they might start to corner someone like Haddad and might strike him economically and financially. After the coast is clear they will then put who ever they see fit in power. I have seen suggestions that the military might place Taboun in power. Some even say Ahmed Ouyahia (but he was more of a DRS guy). Outsiders like Belkhadem are even suggested, but that is a very long shot lol In the end, it is very uncertain and it seems that there is no consensus, otherwise, they would have acted years ago. Rabi yestour So now Tebboune is “Rais”. what is going to happen next in Algeria? These are only based on my analysis of the situation, and I am no expert. But given how “insightful” my previous comment was, I feel encouraged to write this down. Before I share what I think will happen in the coming years, I will try to explain what has happen in the past 8-9 months. What is Le pouvouir? Nobody can give a clear and concise definition of this entity that has ruled over Algeria since the late 80’s. The term is used liberally, but now one cares to define it or attache names to it. If the lectures given by Yuri Bezmenov on the Art of Subversion are any indication of how a Soviet inspired government might run (which Algeria is/was), then we can segment this pouvoir (Pre-Hirak) into 3 clans: Military (led by Gaid Salah followed by Said Chengriha) Intelligence ( Recently led by Tartag, but built by Medien aka Toufik) Civil/Presidency/FLN & allies (This is the Boutef clan, led by Said and supported by Haddad and the like) To share some examples of how these 3 clans interacted and collided in the pre-hirak and during hirak: The Sonatrach scandal were DRS agents headed by general Toufik arrested and indicted key Boutef allies like Chakib Khalil. Led to Mediens removal Removal of some DRS powers post In Salah hostage crisis. These resources and powers were then given to Gaid Salahs military. Boutef managed to out maneuver the military in the early 2000’s and gain considerable power and control of Algeria and of the Algerian military. To the point that Boutef even managed to convince the Army to buy French Helicopters (Puma helicopter was designated to the presidency for Boutef to travel in. It was never serviced and has since never been used at all. ). Note: The Algerian military almost never buys weapons from France. They spent billions in Germany and Italy. But never France. Boutef insisted on French Mirages sometime back, but the military strongly refused. The intelligence clan and the civilian clan joining in an alliance to ouster Gaid Salah and use him as a scapegoat for all the corruption in Algeria. This plan was foiled by Zeroual as he immediately reported to the press that some meeting with a foreign entity (France) took place. What happened during the Hirak? As you can see, these 3 branches live in a sort of “Ouroboros” configuration were they work against each other, trying to consume and undermine one another. But 22nd February 2019 happened, and since then and for a very long time in Algeria, ultimate power is now fully concentrated into one branch and even in one person. This is somewhat dangerous, but Gaid Salah is held in check by the military and not by the populace. As long as the top of the military and the officer corps are happy with how things are going, Gaid is good to go. And so Gaid has the ability to cleanse the civilian branch and even the intelligence service of anyone loyal to the “old regime”. What I found very peculiar during the Hirak was certain “journalists” that worked at Echorouk, quitting their jobs a few days before the protests and declaring themselves as “Anti-Militarist” (!!! ) this was before the military even stepped in. Not to mention, when Said, Tartag and Medien were arrested, these same people immediately jumped to the slogan “No to Political Prisoners ”. Same group of people demanded the immediate release of Louisa Hanoune (Best friends with Toufik) as soon as she was arrested. Finally, these people typically come from a particular area/region in Algeria. I won’t say more, but them and their French patrons have lost a significant amount of economic, cultural and political influence in Algiers. I knew something was up when they claimed that the introduction of English in Algeria was an "islamist plot" lol What does the military have in mind? In my original comment I never imagined something like the hirak happening. I always thought that the military had a “playbook” of who to remove, what to do and how to react once Boutef died. Except that death has never come, and instead we had a hirak. Personally, I always had the idea in mind that someone, atleast someone had a real diagnosis of the problems facing Algeria. Moreover, they also knew how to resolve those problems. It appears to me that the military has some idea of what to do. A few years back (around 2011) South Korea provided advice to the Boutef regime on how to grow and diversify the economy in Algeria, and effectively how to have a vision for the country. Of course, what our geniuses took from this is the establishment of Algerian “Chaebols”. This led to companies/crooks like Haddad, Tahkout, etc. Embezzling millions and producing almost nothing. Effectively, our Second attempt at a capitalist and free economy failed miserably. But it is us who failed and not capitalism, and the army knows that. A quick study of the early 90’s we see two countries that can be comparatively studied; the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China. One failed and the other thrived at the end of the cold war. The question is, why did the Soviet Union disappear while the Chinese have been thriving economically, politically, militarily and culturally in the part 30 years? It is fairly simple: When you have a closed up regime like the Soviets, Chinese Communist Party, or the Boutef gang and are suffering from a stagnant economy you can only do one of two things: Economic reforms. Political reforms. The soviets tried both at the same time, perestroika and glasnost. They failed and their union was desolved. The Chinese, clamped down hard (Tianmen Square) on any further political reforms. But Deng XiaoPing maintained his economic policy of opening up China to foreign investors and free enterprise. Obviously, the military will take the Chinese route, and what that means is limited political reforms, but a potentially better economic situation. Indeed, if you bother to watch Ennahar & Dzair and listen to the army mouth pieces you can hear words like “capitalism”, “foreign investment”, “Electronic Payments” and “Eliminating the 51/49 rule”. So what is projected to happen in the coming years? A few major Decisions have already been made for us such as: More concesions to foreigners in the oil& gas sector. Probably so we don’t end up like Venezuela’s PDVSA Removal of the 51/49 rule in the 2020 Budget, which is the last major decree Bensaleh made before ending his over extended term Revival of the Desertec project with Germany. Essentially opening up renewable energy to German investments. Not to mention less influential decisions like expanding the internet, digitizing the administration, electronic payments. So I would assume that these things will move ahead with full speed. I expect money to come in from places like UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Germany, and China. On a political front, there is no need to talk about changes to the constitution, since as a nation we have never lived my the written law. But expect them to create the position of Vice President. They might even place somebody very close to the military in that spot. In the coming years, Algeria will face slight demographic pressure as the “Terrorism Generation” (those born in the early 90s) start to enter the work place. During the terrible civil war, people were having less kids, and so this is perhaps the least numerous generation in Post independence Algerian history. This means that the government has less people to employee but also less people to house. So it might be a good thing. If the government/military is able to truly and honestly (difficult to control corruption in military regimes) direct investments to were they are needed, then Algeria might actually have a very pleasant and prosperous future, but time is ticking, and we continue to hemorrhage hard earned foreign currency. We have about 2 years to turn things around; diversify away from oil, balance our deficit, and give some hope to the people. If they/we fail, it will be a catastrophe

WHO HAS TWO THUMBS AND IS A MONTH LATE UPDATING THIS POST (b'-'d) Sorry for the delay folks, I've had a hectic month dealing with finals and other things. I'll try to keep these threads a thing whenever we get a new list, and I'll try to keep it up-to-date. And yeah, I know it's not technically June yet, but I'm leaving for vacation in like 12 hours so sue me >:3c This post will give recommendations for decks that can generally do well while remaining under $150 at the most expensive and under $50 at the least. Estimated pricing includes a sample completed main deck and usually the majority of an extra deck, but no side. Not all extra decks are 15 cards, mainly due to the high price of some staple ED monsters. Pricing is based mainly on singles and you can easily save a lot of money by buying cores for most of these lists all at once Decks were chosen usually based on having some degree of success in previous TCG or OCG formats. Thus, many of the frequently recommended budget decks like Deskbots and Graydle Kaiju will not be on here in full. Many decklists, especially those in the first two categories, include middle-range staple cards that may be $15+ each (such as Borreload Dragon, Knightmare Unicorn, etc). These can usually be cut for players on an extreme budget. Conversely, decklists are easily upgraded by adding power cards - replace those Effect Veilers with Impermanence, for example. Not all decklists are perfect and this post is not an R/F. Unless there is a particularly offensive deckbuilding error that you want to point out, please don't use this thread to nitpick at the sample decklists provided. Decklists were built prioritizing simplicity and effectiveness on a budget. At the same time, if you want to try one of these decks, don't treat them as if they're perfect, either - you should experiment and play cards that feel comfortable and/or optimal to you. Do feel free to leave suggestions for budget players, whether it's a budget tech choice for one of the decks on this list or whether it's a different deck that you think can compete in the coming months. Also a shoutout to /u/gallantron for putting together, which I'm now using for the price breakdown links instead of Yugiohdeckbuilder. It's still a little rough around the edges, but it lets you look up individual cards while also having a price checker and an export as YDK feature that isn't completely broken. [Last updated: 30 May 2019] Previous version: Feb 2019 Post Updated version: July 2019 Post S Tier The best bang for your buck. Decks in this category have the capacity to top YCS's, though they're almost always supplemented with expensive power cards. Price: $50+ Price breakdown Salamangreats (also "SGreat", "Salami", and "Salad") are a Link-based control deck with a lot of recursion and a special in-archetype technique that some people refer to as Reincarnation Link Summoning. One Link Monster is used as the entire Link material to summon another copy of that same monster, granting bonus effects. The deck is a consistent control deck, generally establishing respectable boards turn 1 with a fairly compact engine, allowing many handtraps to be played. Their real strength comes in turn 3 and beyond, where their arsenal of free summons from the Deck and GY allow them to overwhelm the opponent. The vast majority of the deck is dirt cheap and is mostly able to be built with commons from SOFU+SAST supplementing 3 copies of Structure Deck: Soulburner. Salamis are currently one of the strongest decks in the OCG, and have cemented their place in the TCG as a top 2 meta deck since the release of Soulburner. Notable event placings are Jonas Koschel's 2nd place finish at YCS Dusseldorf, as well as Team TCG Collectibles Fala Galera's 1st place finish at the Team YCS in Atlanta, where one of their players was on Salamangreat. For players on an extreme budget, it's also possible to build a half-decent deck just from 3 copies of Structure Deck: Soulburner along with 3 Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf, a rare in Savage Strike. An example list might look something like this. Price: $75+ Price breakdown Pendulum deck focused on summoning Heavymetalfoes Electrumite and swarming the field with powerful boss monsters Can be played in a variety of ways and can incorporate a multitude of Pendulum engines Other Pendulum variants incorporating several different outside engines have found success in this format, but relatively "pure" Pendulum Magicians have also done very well in the past Last year, Zekias Shah got top 64 at YCS Utrecht with Magicians, and repeated this success recently at YCS Milan, finishing top 16. Rohan Thomas also piloted this deck to a top 32 finish at YCS Niagara. More recently, the popular build incorporates the new Endymion cards as well as Guardragons, as Darkwurm lets you go into Elpy which facilitates Guardragon plays involving monsters like Amorphage Goliath to lock your opponent out of the game. Aside from Magicians, the Zefra engine has also seen success, with Tayfun Bayraktar taking 1st at a Luxembourg regional earlier in May. "Pure" Endymion without other Pendulum archetypes has also seen varied regional success The general lack of handtraps in the main means that this deck can struggle going second against combo decks Price: $100+ Price breakdown Combo deck that can access its engine by getting literally any two monsters on the field with different names Being able to make Knightmare Mermaid without being interrupted will allow you to end on a board with multiple Fog Blade and a Crescendo, which will be difficult for your opponent to play through While the deck is effective on a budget, ideally it's played with at least 1 copy of Dingirsu, Orcust of the Evening Star, which is currently around $35. Having even one Dingirsu in the extra will massively increase the power level of this deck. It also benefits from access to Borrelsword Dragon, as it can easily be made in this deck even under the DARK-only restriction that many Orcust monsters lock you into Dangers synergize excellently with this deck, allowing it to easily get 2 monsters on the board. Many of the Orcust/PK cards also work well in the GY, which is an added bonus. Cards like Called by the Grave and Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin allow this deck to combo with total disregard for your opponent's handtraps Other viable cards/engines that people have been running include the Trickstar engine to shut off backrow, the Striker engine, and Knightmare Corruptor Iblee/Formud Skipper for easy Mermaid access. A Tier Strong decks, but limited either by a lack of access to powerful staples or by the natural ceiling of the deck. You could still get your regional invite with one of these decks on a good day. Price: $75-100 Price breakdown Tribute summon based deck with monsters that can be summoned by tributing Continuous Spell/Trap cards Can run a very low monster count and doesn't require handtraps or an Extra Deck Runs an obscene amount of draw power Has strong matchups against almost every deck due to how many floodgates it can easily run, but struggles to deal with backrow hate Reprinting of Card of Demise in Duel Power means that budget players can more or less play this deck at full power Floodgates are customizable based on your current meta - for instance, Rivalry/Gozen were the premier floodgates a few months ago but are not run anymore due to their ineffectiveness against Salamangreat. Inspector Boarder has been a popular choice recently, although its price may be prohibitive to some players Has made a resurgence in the meta recently due to its good Orcust matchup and largely not caring about Mystic Mine, along with hits to Sky Striker and Thunder Dragon. This in turn has caused the price on cards like Inspector Boarder and Ignis Heat to go way up. Release of Crackdown in DANE is an interesting tech option for the deck, and has seen some play in combination with Metaltron XII in some listsf Price: $75+ Price breakdown Control deck with incredible recursion and the ability to come back from almost no resources The build shown is more of a generic list playing solid cards that cover multiple matchups. There are 3 empty slots, and that's because you can specialize your list based on deck demographics at your locals - for example, you could build for the Sky Striker matchup, maindecking Secret Village of the Spellcasters and Heavy Storm Duster; or you could build for more monster-heavy decks by playing Mystic Mine and Metaverse. The deck is powerful and topped almost every YCS between the release of Multifaker and the Soulburner structure deck, with the exception of the recent YCS Chicago. They also recently took their first YCS win at YCS Sydney, with Onur Gezer piloting the deck. Since the release of Salamangreat, Altergeist have mostly fallen off the face of the competitive scene, as Salamangreat are largely a superior control deck. One of the few decks that are capable of using the newly released Pot of Extravagance with very little risk, though Extravagance is currently sitting at around $65 at the time of this update Budget players are most hurt by a lack of Infinite Impermanence, Evenly Matched, Pot of Extravagance, and Trap Trick, but the deck is still rather potent without these cards The release of Duel Power in April reprinted the first two cards, though neither are cheap enough at the moment to be considered budget Vulnerable to Evenly Matched, Red Reboot, Denko Sekka, and backrow hate in general Price: $75+ Price breakdown Backrow-heavy control style deck that is extremely versatile and interactive Improved by the addition of power cards like Trap Trick and Card of Demise Last year, taken to a top 32 finish at YCS Columbus and a top 8 finish at YCS Mexico City, and notably also finished 3rd at YCS Niagara Can easily customize its main deck to deal with th
