For some reason they thought it would be a good idea to alter history and turn the actual aeronaut Henry Coxwell into a fictional woman character named Amelia Wren. Seems incredibly disrespectful to Henry's legacy to completely disregard him and turn him into a fake woman character just to fit a current social agenda. I guess this is what we have to look forward to from historical movies from now on.

I really enjoyed this movie on a subject i had never ever thought about, that being the earliest exploration of the air. Again we have a modern movie as a roller coaster ride where the bigger the screen the bigger the impact. Off coarse everything is computer generated special effects that give impossible birds i views. The result for me was a royal vertigo attack which since i have no head for heights was pretty severe but in the end i though that was a surprising enjoyable flight to the clouds with two very pleasing leads. This could have been a good movie, but the writers chose to overemphasize a garbage feminist agenda and bend reality so far that after a while you can't just choose not to think about it and enjoy. This is a movie that I honestly think is more suited for kids than adults.

I cared more for the adventure part than the truth behind it as changing some facts, even major ones doesn't really haven an influence about what the movie wants to show. It was a good film with a lot of moments that challenged your adrenaline. Some really great effects and images with some really exciting editing at times. The visuality of the film Is nearly flawless (sometimes it did look a bit too artificial though.

The performances were overall strong. Eddie Redmayne was a bit he is usual self but had strong moments. The true star of the film was hands down Felicity Jones. Awesome performance full of emotional strengths and power. That film once again allowed her to show her true acting guns. Not much to say about the supporting players as most of the film is the two protagonists in the air. It was exciting in many ways, especially for some one like me who is afraid of heights like this. Good film. Surely not flawless but worth to see anyway.
