Im quite surprised there isnt a epidemic of military wives being mysteriously disappeared. Attended the world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday. Honestly one of top 10 best films I've ever seen. Perfect mix of pathos (not sure I've ever cried more in a film ?) laugh out loud humour and great music.

This is awesome Thank you to all military around the world for your service. What is the second song in the trailer. This song always makes me cry... 'you are not your husbands rank' very true, but unfortunatly some officers get off on forcing their soldiers to respect their wives that way. The Beatles. Love the song. Pretty cool! Nice job. A story that needs to be told.
@waynemful I know what you mean, it's not my normal taste in music but still. This was the last song all the year 6 sang last year. Thank you for this! My boyfriend and I are getting engaged soon and hes in the army. Ive been worried about how Id do as a military wife and your videos have really encouraged me. Howard Weslin, author & US Navy SEAL veteran had a wrong baby ?? story with his 1st wife. ? Weslin wrote about this event in his book. He was in SpecWar, SEAL 6, sniper. BTW, he divorced the woman ???. A John Travolta, A civil action 1998 movie clone but more violent. Sharon and Kirsten are superb. It's a moving story of friendship under pressure of military life, war and pain, with a lovely musical backing track.

I cant stop crying and crying and puting the song again and agin. I can't think of my dad or mom being in the army its so sad I would cry everyday. I have a somewhat wild one. a friend of mine (dungeon master) had a friend who ran a vanilla Minecraft server I used to play on with my dnd group. never really interacted with the guy who owned the server much. know he's in the military, not sure what branch or rank. anyways, DM texts me with this wild story. Military guy texts him in panic, his wife admitted to cheating on him with FOUR guys. All four guys were close friends of his. She's pretty mentally ill and can't handle the guilt, so she holds a gun to her head as both leverage for forgiveness and a permanent exit from the guilt. Never would have guess something like that happened- on the discord and Minecraft server, the two were talking like nothing had happened. Military guy feels like he just lost everything, he's a total wreck, but doesn't want to leave her because what if she kills herself. To my knowledge, they're still together. and I'll NEVER understand it. Not only did he have a cheating wife, but so many terrible friends. The server is closed now, DM friend doesn't talk to them much, and I'm scared to ask what became of them...
Gary Barlow is just pure amazing. he is such a great role model and helped them children to find their confidence and what they truly enjoy. i respect him so much. The wife rank. true story. So I see the domestic violence double standard exists in the military as well as the civilian world. No Gareth malone, oh yes he is a man, cant have a man in this womens story can we. Thank you, as an ex service man it makes me Proud knowing that Present day Serviceman and Veterans have such a Loyal Group behind them Thank You. I just recently married to an airman. Survived ldr and lived with him for a bit in korea. Now im back in philippines to wait for pcs in germany. Thank you for your insights. Unbelievable what these ladies have done in such a short space of time! Your men must be so proud of you. Well done to Gareth too, i've followed all his choir programmes but this is the most impressive! Thanks to Chris Evans too for mentioning the choir every day this week.
