Re: Apple TV can't connect to hidden wifi networks Level 1 (0 points) spflan Sep 20, 2015 3:33 PM ( in response to poetmountain) Thanks for the head's up. I think I've been experiencing the same issue. The SSID in my office is not broadcast (just like in your situation), but unfortunately I am not able to get my IT group to set it to broadcast. I tried using my development iPad running iOS 9. 1 to do the automatic ?TV Setup, but it kept searching for the SSID and couldn't find it (even though the iPad was connected to it). Eventually I just turned on my iPhone's hotspot and it connected over that to complete the setup, but that doesn't seem like an ideal solution either.

To join a hidden network, you need to know the name of the network, the type of wireless security, and if necessary, the mode, user name, and password. Check with the network administrator if you are not sure what to enter. The supported security protocols are WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy), WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), or WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access II). I faced death and the darkness in all things and i let them pass through me without letting them in. i will defeat gravity; and the energies it holds i will face my fears; and recognize the "Awe" of the universe. We must remove names from emotion and realize it is energy to activate the next step of "What is life" Creation Genesis Genes; the natural order of life. Seeds, trees apples. I am one of you. I have studied us for a very long time and I have come to many revelations. This is not a text of answers; we all must reach the conclusion at the same point. This is not a "Bible" and this work should and never will be completed; lest we lose our free will once again. This is a simple work to be built upon; never obeyed. Something to walk alongside you; never piercing you or leading you astray. This is a fraction of everything we know about life. I began this project with Abrahamic religions, as that is where my question of belief came from. As a child I struggled believing in any "God" given that everyone seemed to have their own. Everyone saw "God" differently at church and I couldn't see him at all. I felt like some sort of alien; these people were tapping into something but I cannot fathom it. I felt shame. The creation story of my Arc of peoples began with Adam and Eve. There are many renditions of this story and it came from a previous religion. Adam and Eve were naked without shame; they were living in a garden constructed by their father. They were safe from predators and food was easy to come by. They were entertained without needing to think about anything. There was one rule "Do not touch the golden apple. " It was a simple thing to do; but we all are curious about what we are told not to do. That is a beautiful part of human nature; emotion. Adam gave one of his ribs; his heart. Eve stole his heart; it was love at first sight. They were ignorant in their garden, and they had questions about everything. So many questions but; they couldn't even think of them all. There was no language yet. Humans had lost their ability to speak again. So one day, Eve is wandering and, this is up for interpretation: Christians believe Satan, was the snake. Muslims believe a Djinn was the snake. We all have different words for the same thing; that has led us to miss out on integral parts of all the other stories we have. Muslims believe God created something else before us, that was similar to us but, different. I looked into countless mythologies, I've read about so many subjects; i have been obsessed with understanding the systems of our garden for a long time. There are infinite kinds of energy in the universe. We barely understand time because it is beyond our 3D world. We don't have the receptors to detect these things. We are influenced by many kinds of energy; there is evidence it manifests since the beginning of spoken history. They did not know how to describe it; they could only understand it through strange phenomena. They gave the energies names and drew pictures of them with their minds; and they innovated a world beyond this one to go to when they died. They chose energies that represented them, and threw all their passions into them. People blame Eve for eating the apple. I would have eaten the apple as soon as someone told me I was not allowed. I am curious and I need to know more. Adam and Eve needed to know more. Oddly, in the myth of the Babylonian garden; they were told to eat the apple. In the north there were mountains; in the south a swamp.. Around it a river; it was a perfect circle. There were islands in the distance, but this garden was protected. They were safe from the outside world; but they let deception and shame into their lives. The snake gave Adam and Eve deception and shame. A weakness, and a means to manipulate it. We live in a world of endless snakes; we all have vices. Humans have free will; we are born with morals and values and we let the outside world ruin that. Our father; is God. I will get more into that shortly. It is hard to understand culture without having traveled. If you live in one place with the same people; you develop a hive-mind mentality. It is not a bad thing; culture is the most beautiful thing. It has many levels. It starts with your personal culture. 1. When you are a completely pure child; before the stimulation around you made you into what you are. That is your culture; your 'good and evil' equate to 'Things that are good for people' or 'things that are bad for people. " We are innately good creatures. We are imperfect; we all crave stimulation. We need energy from the outside world to fuel our emotions. We have put words on many things in many languages. We have lost sense that everything is energy and mass. Without words; how does live grow? Stimulation. By leaving the garden. but outside of your personal singular culture; there are dangers. From your parents; giving you shame and manipulation. From the world outside with evils that you know are wrong, but are raised to accept. Cultures are amazing things; but they can very easily spiral out of control. God is all things. God is all matter and all energy; it is time and dimensions far beyond what we can begin to perceive. Yet. God is the subatomic vibrations of an Adam to further than we can imagine. We need an Eve, of Adam. We need to create a peaceful garden free of shame and manipulation. The bible is many things; it is a patterned text to get you in touch with energies that people have discovered over countless civilizations. It is a way to understand how those civilizations of language got physically stacked on top of each-other until nobody knew how to speak to each-other any more? We speak with more than words. But once we feel ashamed to speak; once we begin to manipulate others. To take more than we give. We are built to put more into the world than we take. We are all creators. We are all pilgrims. God is creation. God is who is; it is the natural order of the universe. As language expands we lose the ability to speak. As society decays we have few options as to how to correct it. Do we turn our backs on it and let it turn to salt? Or do we allow ourselves to be crucified by the angry masses in order to make sure we head in a positive direction. The earth, is a garden. We found the apple. We have discovered the Atomics. It all starts with A, and ends with Zed. From life to death; alpha and omega. Our death is new life; but we need organics to populate the earth. We must use thinking machines in moderation; the human mind is infinite. To touch all sides requires absolute focus on all things. To master your mind is to create Gardens all over the universe. To get the answer we seek we must LOOK FURTHER. Use more of our senses. We are in touch with the universe; we just need to open our minds. Do not get lost in it; embrace what is life. What is creation. The apple helped Adam and Eve escape their garden; we need to escape ours. Our lifespans are short and we can only get so much done. We have led ourselves into a world of sloth and comfort. The mortal sins are basically "This is how you fuck up your life. " Food is easily available so we shove it in our gullets. We want for nothing; for now. Culture has pushed us apart; but it is the best part of us. Everybody sees a small portion of the universe. It creates their own personal universe in their mind; an infinite system of electric thought. It is easy to get trapped in certain parts of the mind; it is infinite. It is endless and something beyond what you could possibly fathom; yet. The natural order is to go forth and propagate. Adam is seen as 1 and Eve is seen as 0 in numerology. Symbols have meaning and there is power. We have come up with math to describe the shapes and tangents of natural order. Both Adam and Eve are complete; but apart they will stay the same. Women create a garden for their children while men force them out into the world. It is the natural state of our species. We all have our own universe though; so assuming somebody else's world is built upon false foundations would make them feel attacked. You would shame them. Are any of us perfect? There are small pockets of all of our personal universes we would like to keep hidden. Nobody should feel shame for their innovations. Life is about innovation. It is creation; thoughts and ideas trying to get us out of this garden and onto the next. We need to build many Arcs. We need to connect the stars and spread as much life everywhere as we can! If we don't, our civilization will end up the next's source of oil. It is a revolving system and we are running out of time. War is built upon thinking another countries political or religious agenda will interfere with yours. That their words may conflict with yours. We are all describing the same things; Scripts are scripture. Every tv show every plot; it's built around the same arc. Here are some people; they are faced with a difficult situation. Do they wallow in it; or do they succeed? We are all telling ourselves it is time to recognize our troubles. Religions are a way to focus the energies in our bodies and get in touch with that which is around us and each-other. The universe is a connected system of matter and mass. Humans are a connected system of the same, composed of organ systems, made up of complex cells, made up of mitochondria producing adenosine triphosphate which you need Oxygen lest you do go into Kreb's cycle and produce less ADP. Even with little air we produce energy. We make fire. Down to our core; we are creatures of mass and energy. You can learn a lot about humans by examining the atom. We are a solid mass made up of random particles. We are surrounded by energy that we can barely perceive; we let that energy show us how to bond. We let other energies attract us and force us into groups. We are not creatures of groups my friends. I love each and every one of you and your belief system is the most beautiful thing. We al
Apple Watch isn’t a fully standalone device (yet), but Apple’s been working to reduce dependency on iPhone since its inception, and joining Wi-Fi networks is a good example of that. In watchOS 5, you can manually connect to a nearby Wi-Fi network directly from the wrist, even if the selected network is password-protected. The ability to choose Wi-Fi networks from your wrist, no iPhone needed whatsoever, was first added to Apple Watch with the September 2018 release of the watchOS 5 software update. TAKEAWAYS: watchOS 5 lets you join Wi-Fi networks directly from Apple Watch. You can even join password-protected networks via the watch. Captive Wi-Fi networks found in public spots like hotels and airports are unsupported. Wi-Fi networks that require subscriptions or profiles are not supported. Before watchOS 5, Apple Watch used Wi-Fi credentials saved on iPhone. But first, watch our hands-on walkthrough video. Subscribe to iDownloadBlog on YouTube All models work on 2. 4GHz 802. 11b/g/n Wi-Fi networks but no watches support the faster 5GHz standard. If your router is dual band, connect the watch to your 2. 4GHz network. About Apple Watch and Wi-Fi With watchOS 5 and up, you can manually join Wi-Fi networks. Any Wi-Fi networks your iPhone has previously joined continue to be shared with the watch, too. With watchOS 5, your watch maintains its own list of know Wi-Fi SSIDs and saved passwords that doesn’t get shared with its paired iPhone. The watchOS software still attempts to prioritize known networks: if you have previously joined a Wi-Fi network on your iPhone while the handset was?connected to the watch with Bluetooth, watchOS will continue to use those saved credentials when switching its Wi-Fi connection. Here’s how to manually join Wi-Fi networks on Apple Watch. How to join Wi-Fi networks on Apple Watch To manually join a Wi-Fi network on the watch, do the following: 1) Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch with watchOS 5 or newer. 2) Select? Wi-Fi ?from the list. 3) Wait a few seconds until your Apple Watch has finished scanning nearby Wi-Fi networks, then tap one from the list and dismiss the explainer screen by tapping OK. 4) If the selected wireless network is password-protected, you’ll be prompted to type in the Wi-Fi password into your watch using the incredibly handy Scribble feature. 5) ?Tap Join ?in the upper-right corner to join the network or Cancel to abort the operation. When the watch joins the selected network, the Wi-Fi icon in Control Center turns blue. How Wi-Fi toggle works Much like iOS 11, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles in the watchOS Control Center don’t really shut down the wireless radios. Toggling Wi-Fi off from Control Center dims the icon and disconnects the device from any networks it’s connected to, but keeps the radios on to support Continuity features such as AirPlay, Handoff, Location Services and Instant Hotspot. Toggling Wi-Fi off in Control Center disconnects you from known networks? After you manually disconnect from a Wi-Fi network or toggle Wi-Fi off in Control Center, your Apple Watch won’t re-join it until you do one of the following things: Turn on Wi-Fi in Control Center Walk or drive to a new location It’s 5:00 am local time The device gets restarted Apple says this change allows for a better user experience because people will stop wondering why AirDrop stopped working after disabling Wi-Fi from Control Center (the EFF disagrees). To fully disable the Wi-Fi radio and Continuity services, disable Wi-Fi via Settings In order to permanently turn Wi-Fi off for all services and apps, as well as shut down the radios inside your Apple Watch completely to help converse power, you must venture into Settings → Wi-Fi on the watch and slide the Wi-Fi toggle to the OFF position. The watch will only attempt to join a Wi-Fi network when not in proximity of iPhone, according to Apple’s description of the feature.?When your paired iPhone is in proximity of the watch, watchOS maintains its own list of saved Wi-Fi networks. TUTORIAL: How to fully disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on iPhone and iPad Owners of cellular-enabled watches will find this feature very, very useful. At long last, you are able to connect the watch to a Wi-Fi network without having to fist join it on your iPhone. Need help? Ask iDB! The bodyguard whitney houston. The body no one deserves happiness full album. The body coach. The body of kobe bryant. The bodyguard song. Summary The next morning, Tracker lingers with the map of the kingdom thinking of the Gangatom and the Mingi children he left behind. He is distracted by the sight of Mossi just outside the window practicing with his swords. With Sogolon and Venin out and Sadogo still upstairs, Tracker is the only one present when the Griot begins playing a stringed instrument and?after a time?to sing. The song is about a lonely man seeking and losing love. It so affects Tracker that he runs from the room and heads outside, where he struggles to compose himself and push down the surfacing half-memories of the mingi children while watching Mossi.? Tracker heads up to the roof to speak with Sadogo, who he finds setting up a sleeping pallet. ?He tells Tracker he has been having nightmares and fears bringing the house down from inside. Sadogo further mentions that Venin has been acting differently: meaner to him and strangely annoyed with Sogolon. Sensing that Sadogo is growing feelings for rhe girl, Tracker tries to soothe Sadogo. When the Ogo mentions Mossi, Tracker denies having any feelings there and changes the subject.? Tracker updates him (selectively) on what they learned the previous night. He tells the ogo of the princeling’s traveling companions and their hunting methods. Sadogo surprises Tracker by telling him about his fight with the Ipundulu back when it was still leashed to a witch. He shudders when Tracker tells him that the lightning bird is now masterless. Next Tracker tells him of the plan going forward: grab the boy from the monsters, keep him away from the Aesi, and take him to his mom. Tracker tells Sadogo Lisisolo’s identity, but stays mum on the succession implications. Sadogo tells Tracker how tired he’s grown of being asked to fight for reasons that are unclear and asks why they are still doing this job. Tracker can’t give him a clear answer and replies that he senses finding the kid is the right thing to do. Sadogo presses a little and asks Tracker if he cares about anything. Tracker tells him of the Mingi. Shocked and a little confused, Sadogo jokes that perhaps his simple life isn’t so bad. They move back to the subject of the mission for the boy. Tracker tells him of the boy’s reverse path through the ten and nine doors and of the plan to ambush them when they come to feast on Dolingon flesh. In farewell, Tracker gives Sadogo a hug and marks his scent so that he’ll always know where the Ogo is. Before he leaves, Sadogo asks if Tracker finds Venin pretty. Tracker replies yeah…for a girl. Sadogo of the ways he feels alien to his nature as an Ogo. Tracker assures him that he is good man. Tracker heads back downstairs and exchanges a brief goodnight with Mossi as he passes the prefect's door in the hallway. Soon Sogolon and Venin come back in from whatever they were up to. They are clearly in conflict. Venin pushes Sogolon, cusses her out, and storms up the stairs. Tracker, somewhat amused, tells Sogolon that the griot sang a song while she was gone. She dismisses it as some game, reminding Tracker that the man swore an oath of silence to avoid Kwash Dara’s hunters and has not played or sung anything in at least 30 years. Even so, Tracker insists, he sang that morning. Sogolon, still disbelieving, asks if it was anything relevant to their mission. Tracker replies that it was just some love song. She scoffs and says she’ll ask the man come morning. Tracker is awakened by Sadogo crying and looking over?the roof’s edge at the griot’s body. Sadogo tells him that the man walked right past him and jumped to his death. Tracker heads down to meet Sogolon, who is in the courtyard with the body. She asks what song the man sang yesterday morning. Tracker reiterates that it was just about finding and losing love. Sogolon tells them to move the body so that Mossi and Venin won’t find out. He and Sadogo hide the body in nearby bush. As they carry it out into the tall grass, they are suddenly attacked by a storm of birds. They are forced to drop the body and run a ways off. When they turn back, they see the birds take the body and fly off. They hurriedly pack and ride for Dolingo citadel, telling the others that the griot went for a walk in the bush and will return later. Sogolon rides alone, Sadogo carries Venin on his shoulder, and Tracker rides the Buffalo with Mossi. They reach Dolingo citadel, which is made up of enormous tree-like structures connected by pulley platform systems. The number of clever technical innovations apparent everywhere around them leaves Tracker and Mossi, stunned. A platform descends to lift them up to what they are told is the queen’s tree. The proceed through the chambers of the court past more wonders till they come to the throne room. The people of the court all have deep blue-black skin. The queen takes an immediate interest in Mossi’s light complexion and eastern origin. She interrogates him about these and makes him strip before the court so that she can examine him fully. She plays to her court and calls for their reaction to his coloring. Sogolon interrupts to beg the queen to attend to the aid they seek. The queen checks her for interrupting and then allows Mossi to put his clothes back on and return to the group. The queen reminds Sogolon that she is helping them on Lisisolo’s behalf and as a preemptive check to Kwash Dara’s ambition. She then has her guards escort the rest of their party to their designated rooms so that she and Sogolon can speak alone.? In the sky caravan that carries them to their lodgings for the evening, Mossi vents of the humiliation he suffered in the throne room. Tracker tries calming him as he, too tries to process their position and what their standing is with the Dolingon. They wonder at the technology or magic that makes Dolingo possible. Tracker is skewed out by the complete lack of slaves apparent despite the crazy amount of invisible work they see done. They pass another caravan occupied by a group of drunken revelers and a fire-breather. Mossi asks what the plan is now that they have reached Dolingo. Tracker tells him that he does not know, but senses that Sogolon has an evolving plan of her own, which worries him. He warns Mossi that he suspects some way or another that Sogolon considers them disposable once the boy is found. Mossi suggests that since they cannot trust Sogolon, they might need to force her hand. Tracker reminds him of Sogolon’s penchant for leveling people with wind when questioned. Mossi considers this and then ?remarks to Tracker that Sogolon is hunted by one more powerful than they and this might be to their advantage.? When they reach the tree where they will be staying, Tracker is deposited in one room and then Mossi is taken away to a different one. As fond as he is for the freedom to come and go as he pleases, Tracker is glad of the luxurious amenities the Dolingon have provided. Tracker dreams of the darklands that night. He is woken the next morning by a Dolingon man who tells him to wash and eat. Both the bath and food are produced seemingly out of nowhere by silent servants through secret doors. He goes for a quick walk and thinks he hears someone in the room when he returns, though the room is empty when he, while wandering a different floor, he finds Mossi who insists they need to talk and suggests that the two take a walk. Mossi keeps the talk light as they walk and tells Tracker to assume that they’re being monitored. When they seem out of earshot, Tracker again expresses his anxiety at the seeming lack of slaves…or, for that matter, children in the city. Mossi stops him and tells him that he was taken to the queens chambers and forced to have sex with her last night. Tracker runs through a range of reactions before calming down and asking for the whole story. After they dropped tracker off, Mossi was washed and dressed and taken to the queens chambers. With the queens guards, advisors, doctors, watchmen, and Sogolon all watching they had sex. Afterwards, the doctors and watchmen inspected the queen and assured her that his seed was suitably deposited. At that point Mossi was dismissed. Mossi believes that this breeding is some part of the deal Sogolon cut with the Queen. They make their way back to Tracker’s room and Tracker feels himself getting more and more upset. By the time they get there, Tracker’s upset boils over and he jumps Mossi, who fends him off while trying to get him to calm down. Eventually, Mossi gets him into an impossible hold and he relents. They separate and Mossi walks back some of the insults he paid Tracker during the fight. He tries to remind Tracker thatchy have the same goal. Having lost everything, Mossi too has latched onto this boy as his final purpose. Tracker, cooling, yet still to proud to drop it entirely, withholds his pity.? Mossi notices a smell and interrupts Tracker. Tracker slows down and sorts through the scents present in the room, homing in on some B. O. he hadn’t noticed before. He tracks the scents to a secret compartment in the wall, where after ripping out the concealing boards, they find a boy connected to some apparatus by rope tied to every appendage and digit. The boy squirms when he realizes they’ve exposed him, triggering the various mechanisms of the room. They cut the boy loose and pull out his feeding tube.? They sit the boy down, assure him that they’re not going to hurt him, and then step away to discuss what tho do.?For Tracker, this is confirmation of the unease he’s been feeling. In his fury, his thoughts turn bloody. He wants to do something. He tries to get Mossi to talk him out of it, but is shocked to discover that Mossi is of a similar cast of mind. If they were to be sold or sacrificed anyhow, might as well take some of the bastards with them. Just then, the boy makes a break for it, ju

The body no one deserves happiness. Brahm, prone on the floor, rolled out of the way of the ogre's flail. A horrid thing, clad in iron peeled up at the end like spikes, it wielded a heavy chain affixed to a cinder block the size of a small dog. The ogre dragged the block back, leaving a dent in the steel ground, preparing for another throw. Brahm quickly struggled to his feet. The block hit squarely on his shield, which he'd only barely been able to raise in time. The shockwave hit his bones, and nearly knocked him prone again; the clang of the impact rang out, joining the cacophony of clashes and clanging. Soon, he would drop the shield, he wouldn't have the energy to get back up, and his head would be crushed under the flail. He thought of an egg crushed under a boot with a crackling crunch. The sky was a dull red, the air as bright as the afternoon sun. The smell of blood ached in the air. Brahm looked past the ogre standing over him, at the infinite battlefield he was trapped in. In the carmine expanse, he saw the great cubes. Massive planes of steel, each covered in poor lost souls like him, each locked in hopeless battle like he was. He could hear the clanging from their swords, each clash adding to the chorus, growing ever louder, congealing into a high-pitched tone, an ever-present humming of lingering war. He let out a sigh, giving up. There wasn't any escape from this. All that there was here, was the cubes... flying.... closer. The two closest cubes collided with each other, each the size of a mountain and flying at hundreds of miles per hour. When the steel surfaces collided, it let out a horrifying screeching, metal bending and tearing and cutting through metal, the two cubes split apart into four. The ogre dropped the flail, covering its ears and nearly falling over. Brahm, seeing his chance, leaped up and tackled them to the ground, bashing them in their face with his shield. The bloodcurling screech still saturating the air, it was joined by the repeated crunch of the ogre's face, dozens of cracks and blows, until all that was left was a bloody pulp, chunks of bones swimming in the blood. Avalas smiled upon him, and he could feel the energy of Acheron pouring into him, strengthening him off the death of the bestial thing. Muscles straining, he breathed in the blood-stained air, powered through the curdling scream of the plane, and roared. My heart overflows with bitterness Have you ever cleaned yourself in blood, since nobody had water? I have. Have you ever killed a man so you could feed him to your daughter? I have. They say it's an adventure, but I haven't had one yet. All I've had is blood, and tears, and pain, and pus, and sweat, and still they tell me righteousness waits just one victim more. War's not Hell, but it's right next door. *-*Hamlett Morning, halfling poet, after being drafted into a hobgoblin military junta There is a world for those who have been claimed by evil gods of war. It is a world of pointless bloodshed, full of death. It is populated by all manner of evil men, awesome machines of waging war, brutal dictators and heartless tacticians, and great iron fortresses of all kinds and sizes. It is called Avalas, the first layer of the outer plane of Acheron, where Lawful Neutral and Lawful Evil souls are brought for their eternal punishment. There is no ground in Acheron. There are only immense steel cubes floating in the infinite void. Most of these cubes range from the size of a house to the size of a mountain. Some are as small as an apple, some are as large as a moon. The evil gods of war have each claimed one of these cubes to be their divine domain, and they are populated with cities and forts to train their minions and send them to their deaths in the name of victory and in the name of Avalas. These cubes fly through the air at great speed. Often, their courses collide, and they ring out with a great clangor. This clang is added to the great hum of the plane, where the echoes of all past collisions still linger in the air, growing ever louder, making it impossible to concentrate on anything but violence. Nobody can sleep in Avalas- if not because of the horrible deeds they've been forced to do, then because the sound of the plane keeps them awake. There is no silence in Acheron. Play Link 1 and Link 2 and Link 3 at the same time, all looped. You can play around with playback speed to get the desired effect. The most reliable way to reach Avalas, which you should never hope to do, is the river Styx, which empties into this plane from Avernus. Unlike on other planes, the Styx has no place to flow in Acheron, and it crashes from cube to cube, falling ever downward in a series of deadly waterfalls. The merrenoloths know how to navigate the river even here, however, and will ferry lost souls for a price. Separately, in the world of Ultimate Law rests the deific embodiment of Cosmic Order, which is named Primus. Arising from a pool of primordial energy, it towers over the clocks and gears of its plane as tall as a mountain. Its right hand is bathed in a light of many colors; its left hand is bathed in darkness. These are gateways to Arcadia, the good world of Law and work; and to Acheron, the evil world of Law and desolate war. If you trek to the center of Mechanus, and speak to Primus, perhaps it will pick you up in its left hand and the darkness will bring you to Avalas. Very few people find that easier done than collecting a merrenoloth's fee. Failing either of those, this world can be reached through sparse portals in the material plane. In the mountains south of Kraznodar, over the gorges and ravines, it is said there is an abandoned mine somewhere among the peaks. On the last day of summer, heat's last dominion before the earth starts to die, a deep red light can be seen from inside the mine between noon and dusk, and a person who wanders in will be stranded in Avalas. If you ever wander the desecrated site of some horrible war, be careful. Under the most wretched of the corpses, or in the darkest pool of blood, there may be a pit to the first layer of Acheron, from which you can never escape. Survival Common advice for those traveling to Avalas is not to bring food or water. You will be cut down in battle long before you need it anyways. Spells such as tiny hut, magnificent mansion, rope trick, and demiplane, or magic items such as a rod of security are important for traveling the plane, as without taking magical means of security, you will not be able to last for 8 hours without coming into conflict with another denizen of the plane. The other denizens of Acheron have far less to lose than you do as a mortal. They will be resurrected by whatever dark god claimed them, and you will be dead. The best way to survive on this plane for a long time is participating in it. You survive in Acheron by killing. Bloodlust. While in Acheron, a creature gains temporary hit points equal to half its hit point maximum whenever it reduces a creature to 0 hit points. The plane itself rewards you for prolonging the war. And nowhere on the plane is this more useful and relevant than on Avalas, where the plane is most populated and most brutal. Nishrek, home of the orcish gods When the blood-red sky makes their blood run dry, Gruumsh One-Eye goes strong! When their blood goes splat and their bones go flat, Baghtru Leg-Breaks on! When your blood runs hot or you start to rot, Yurtrus claims his own! When your blood gets spilled and your lust is filled, Luthic brings you home! Nishrek is believed to be the largest cube in Avalas. Each side is as large as a continent on the material plane, and each side is flooded with every orc, troll, and ogre who ever lived. The terrain of Nishrek is a flat, barren plain, spotted with dug trenches and conical pits, sparse brushes and nets of barbed wire, and iron citadels and infernal war machines. Here, the goblinoid forces of Maglubiyet land and wage war against the orcs of Gruumsh and his kin. Sample Map Gruumsh's Iron Fortress. Gruumsh One-Eye, father of the orcs, lives in a massive Iron Citadel. This fortress can hold entire orcish armies within its walls when Gruumsh needs to protect them. Bards tell tales of orcish armies retreating inside the walls and battering off invading goblin forces for many weeks. Likewise, tales tell of orcish armies which Gruumsh did not deign to protect, and were cut down and slaughtered banging on the outside of the walls, begging for sanctuary. Luthic's Caves. Beneath Gruumsh's Iron Fortress, and spreading out for many hundreds of miles, Luthic Cave Mother of the Orcs has built an expanse of tunnels in which her followers stay. She clawed apart the rocks herself with her long claws. The orcs in these caves are more likely to be mages or clerics, arts which Gruumsh frowns upon among his own direct followers. Yurtrus' Fleshslough. Yurtrus, the orc god of disease, built a tower of flesh on Nishrek, from which he does horrible things to those unlucky enough to stumble near. He has absolute control over reality within the tower, his domain, and amuses himself with the pain of the condemned souls of Acheron. The orcs are especially vulnerable, as Gruumsh has decreed that orcs to weak to fight will be fed to Yurtrus to be flayed of flesh- a fate worse than death. Vaprak's Layers. Vaprak the Destroyer, god of ogres, trolls, and brutal lesser giant-kin, is rumored to live in some cave somwhere on Nishrek. Most scholars say the god lives in the depths of the Abyss, but the strong presence of Vaprak's worshippers in Avalas can't be simply brushed off. Encounters. An abandoned Iron Citadel, infested with rust monsters who are trying to eat the fortress and the cube itself. One
The body shop cz. Rory woke up as he usually did, clenching his eyelids a little tighter and groaning as the grass tickled his bare feet and the sunlight- Wait. That isn’t normal. Rory’s head was launched upwards almost as fast as his eyes shot open to drink in as much of his surroundings as he possibly could. Immediately around him, there was nothing but brightly-lit grass, warming him up just to look at - or maybe that’s the sunlight on my back - and a few flowers sprinkled delicately throughout. Looking further out, Rory suddenly realized the grass was a bit too blue for normal grass, and the flowers almost seemed drained of all colour - almost like an inverse of his garden and lawn’s normal condition. The ground itself appeared to be a brighter tan than dirt tended to be, though he couldn’t see much of it admittedly, but the sky appeared to be a normal-ish blue. As he stood up, he noticed that he was completely naked, covered himself as he checked to see if there was anyone around to notice. Luckily, there was nobody close by - though that wouldn’t have mattered much, as Rory realized now what was happening. He decided to let it play out for a while, however, as lucid dreams are only worth so much once you started to put your influence on them. He finished standing, turned around, and observed the sun’s dirt-brown colour - an interesting one, to be sure - before observing his surroundings once more for anything interesting. Sunward, there was a railroad of sorts. It appeared to be built for hovering trains - he’d seen that in similar dreams before, not particularly special. To his left, there was a small rise in the ground level - he appeared to be in some kind of rolling plains. Quaint. To his right, there was a dirt path - the grass struggling to return to its rightful seat, but the footprints of thousands, maybe millions drowning its attempts in failure. The path bent before reaching him, and didn’t appear to lead to anything important that he could presently see over the large hill it soared on top of. This bend led his body to turn around once more - And to witness the hellscape that appeared to be a sprawling metropolis of medieval architecture and 2nd-3rd millennium technology interspersed throughout. That is… very new. With his interest piqued, Rory began to exert himself upon his dream. First, he clothed himself. Second, he allowed himself to float. And lastly, he sent himself off towards the strangest thing he thinks his subconscious had ever come up with. As he approached the city, he saw its details with greater clarity than before, and was in equal parts more impressed and more disgusted. Great walls of stone seemed to section it off from every angle, with gates scattered around in a disorderly manner. Most gates he could see hinted at their portcullis-like nature with the bottommost steel spikes visible, but some didn’t need to hint at it because they were already closed. The gates weren’t as interesting as what he studied next, however. On the castle-city’s walls stood guards clothed in faintly glowing ancient armor. He couldn’t place the time or style, as he wasn’t really an expert, but he could see that they were some kind of greyed leather, and that they imposed a weak blue light on everything around them. In their hands they carried musket-like firearms in a style not dissimilar to the Queen’s Royal Guards of his home, though he could see no bayonet or extra ammunition pouches anywhere on their person. He could swear there was a similar glow to the weapons as to the armor, but the bright red nature of the wood itself dimmed his thoughts on this, as the glow he thought he could see was quite orange-reddish. Looking past the walls, he saw the towering structures of stone, wood, and the odd metal, that, to him, stretched far higher than they had any right to. Some had rings of white stone glowing green placed at consistent intervals, some had that same stone now glowing yellow as pillars continuing along the entire height of the structure, and some he couldn’t even pick out that kind of pattern. Past it all, however, he saw a grand structure made almost entirely of marble and metal - looking like something akin to the Americans’ White House, but with a little less lawn space, instead having the building extend to encompass these areas fully. He approached one of the impressively high structures and began to examine everything about it, starting from the similarities it had with Medieval-age architecture and then the differences. The first difference, which was hard to ignore in order to examine the others, were obviously the marble-white stone glowing yellow that stretched itself from the ground to the peak of the tower’s walls. The second was the lack of any actual windows. Before he could look at any other, he was drawn back to the stone, and decided to try and see how it worked. In the past, his dreams had come up with strange mechanical contraptions or technology to try and explain what was happening. He figured this would be no exception. He touched the yellow-glowing stone with his palm and willed it to deconstruct itself, and remembered last-second to freeze the rest of the tower before his subconscious decided it should be collapsing. But the stone didn’t take itself apart - instead, its glow left it, literally. A bright speck of yellow moved away from the stone, and split itself into three other colours, each of which solidified into some kind of written character. I don’t know if this is an actual human language or not… I guess I’ll call these runes, may as well. One rune shined a reflective red - it had a thick line across the top, pierced by a thin line down the middle like a cross, and around a third of the distance from the bottom the thin line broke off of its original path and was reflected across the center. Rory squinted, and could almost see someone lifting something - that made some sense. Another rune was a dull green, and looked like a large O with lines whose middles met the circumference and tips met the center. The lines got thicker the closer they were to the circumference of the O. Rory thought that this would mean something like absorbing, but couldn’t think of what it would be absorbing if this were real life. It’s probably magic or something in this dream, not too important. The last rune was an almost-too-bright white, and had three vertical lines spaced out, with the center having a horizontal line of equal length through its middle. Rory led himself to believe this one was supposed to combine the other two into something useful. Looking past the runes for a moment, he realized that only a singular white stone had lost its glow - of which, there appeared to be hundreds on this building alone, and it wasn’t even the tallest building here. He willed the stone to reassemble itself and back away from the tower, now looking to the white house from earlier. Shouting from behind caught Rory’s ear as he was about to propel himself in this new dream’s glorious creation - so he turned around, to see one of the guards from the wall earlier. Much closer this time. The guard was pointing his musket at him - and had a slightly glowing cape hanging from his back, flapping incessantly even though there was no strong wind. Most importantly, the guard was not on the ground. He was floating in the direction of Rory, and Rory started to feel drowsy. I guess I’ll be waking up soon, then. Rory waved to the guard before passing out, and waking up moments later. He was in his bed again, he was sure of it. Back in the real world. His alarm began to snap almost before his arm went to hit the off button - but alas, he was too fast for even it to match. He climbed out of bed at average speed, put on some average clothing, and began to work his way downstairs to have an average breakfast in his average house. Though nobody else lived there, it was in fact a full house, with nobody renting it - yet, he was still looking for interested people - and he stopped in the middle of pouring his brand-name cereal to think about how he’d gotten it, before - I don’t want to think about that right now. - and he resumed with his completely normal morning. Somewhere else, far away, was not having a normal morning, however. Faerail City’s guard was reporting an unknown ganginoid entity had flown into the city, hovered next to one of the Scanning Towers, waved at approaching guards, and then disappeared, evading capture. The city’s Magical Defense Coalition council found this information to be worthy of more than just an investigation- “Magical beings like that don’t just appear! ” shouted Two at the bench across from him. “Then how do you explain it? The towers would’ve detected that kind of latent energy far further than they did with that - it appeared only 300 meters away! ” was the reply from Three. “Perhaps something we just aren’t aware of yet. A more advanced cloaking technique than we are able to use? ” a third, calmer, voice chimed in, belonging to One. “I think we’re missing a huge point here. Magical beings of this power are rare, and extremely dangerous. There are very few reasons one would exist in our jurisdiction and we wouldn’t know about it. I find it unlikely that this is an experiment of another Council. ” was the focus-driven response of Five. “We should upgrade the scanning towers with the latest sensor glyphs available for use, ” said Two and Three together. “So we can destroy this threat to the safety of our people! ” said Two, at the same time Three said - “So that the economic flow of the Faerail isn’t collapsed by Faerail City’s possible destruction or signs of insecurity. ” Two and Three had, once again, diverged greatly. “Just because you’re the Battle Captain doesn’t mean everything has to be about destruction, Two. ” “And just because the threat hasn’t done any damage yet doesn’t mean it isn’t-” began Two’s re

It was earlier reported by 1 NEWS that a Christchurch couple were being questioned in relation to the deaths. The bodies of a 63-year-old carpenter, Nirmal Kumar, his 54-year-old wife, Usha Devi, their 34-year-old daughter, Nileshni Kajal, and her two daughters Sana, aged 11, and Samara, eight, were found in the Nausori Highlands last month on August 26. Among the notable changes, she said, was an overhaul to the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism to make it an independent body that will drive much of the tech sector’s work on implementing the scheme. “The new standalone Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism will have a dedicated structure and staff to more capably carry out the business of disrupting terrorist and violent extremist use of member platforms and to engage with smaller platforms to assist them do the same, ” Ms Ardern said. “Its mission now encompasses violent extremist content online ? not just terrorist content. And it will have working groups focused on research, on algorithms, and on data privacy and information sharing. ” Alongside this is the development of a new crisis response protocol ? described by Ms Ardern as a “priority out of Paris” ? to be used by governments and tech companies to coordinate and to manage the online impacts of terrorist attacks. Police break down barriers by learning Mandarin Blair Atkinson is one of 47 sworn and non-sworn staff who've taken Mandarin classes, up from 31 in January. In TV shows and movies, police break down doors with brute force and much yelling. In real life, Constable Blair Atkinson and his colleagues hope to break down barriers by learning a new language. Atkinson, from the police Serious Crash Unit at Auckland's Motorway Policing Traffic Centre, is one of 47 police staff who've taken Mandarin lessons. Jessica Phuang, police Ethnic Responsiveness Manager, said the language and cultural competency lessons helped police better engage with Mandarin speakers In a statement, Customs said a woman was arrested and charged at Christchurch Airport on Monday. An examination of the woman's baggage revealed 2. 5kg of cocaine had been hidden in the lining of five puffer jackets. The drugs had a potential street value of up to $875, 000. The woman had flown to New Zealand from Zimbabwe via Ethiopia and Singapore. Her travel had come to the attention of Customs officers. If?you cut through all the jibber-jabber and useless waffle about President Trump politely showing an interest in PTPM Ardern’s gun “buyback” scheme, we need to ask what exactly Jacinda achieved for New Zealand? The answer, of course, is NOTHING! No steel Free Trade Agreement We didn’t send her over there to womble on about her useless pet project the Christchurch Call, or to do a Greta Thunberg lecturing the President about the Fake Climate Emergency, or even to talk to him about how she is doing her best to disarm New Zealand’s law-abiding population. Her job was to secure a steel deal for New Zealand by getting the tariffs removed and to secure a Free Trade Agreement. Her “Pull-aside” meeting was much like the contraceptive “Pull-out” method. Completely unsatisfactory and rarely successful. Well, how do you like them apples? The meeting didn’t happen because Jacinda Ardern had asked for it in order to try to advance New Zealand’s interests. The meeting only happened because Trump was curious about the PM who was handed her job by a minor party and who has shown no diplomacy whatsoever, calling him orange and a professional arsehole as well as joining in a march against him being democratically elected by the American people. If I were he, I would want to have a closer look at a?political clown?too. Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters has criticised suggestions Sri Lanka’s Easter Sunday bombings were retaliation for the Christchurch mosque shootings, saying his country is being “misused”. Sri Lankan Deputy Minister for Defence Ruwan Wijewardene last week said early investigations had revealed the bombing of churches and hotels that killed 253 people had been in revenge for shootings at two New Zealand mosques on March 15, which killed 50 people. ” Expect anything in the the jihad war against infidels and any made up excuse about victimhood. Meanwhile the astronomical tally of abuses by Islamic supremacists and jihadists globally is routinely ignored. Excuses for jihadi violence range from “colonialism” and “zionism” to “insulting Islam” and now the attack on innocent Christians in Sri Lanka is being blamed by some on the New Zealand shooter who identified as left wing, right wing, socialist, and his favorite model government was communist China. The recent jihad massacer in Sri Lanka was purely about the?rise of jihadists?in Southern Asia, nothing else. Jihadists do not need any excuse. Their goal is self evident in their 1400 year war against infidels,?from Muhammad to ISIS. It is instructed:?“war is deceit”?(Bukhari 4. 52. 268), so blaming New Zealand for the Sri Lankan massacre is merely a lie and propaganda to a ‘greater end’.?Buddhists?are also now deemed to be a target in Sri Lanka, as are all infidels. How does a jihadi girl get recognition and love? A few fuel-doused gas canisters at a renowned Christian cathedral should do the trick. Suspected female jihadists on trial for botched terror attack on Paris’s Notre-Dame Cathedral, ”?France 24, September 23, 2019 (thanks to Henry): Five women go on trial at a special Paris court on Monday for attempting to blow up a car near Notre-Dame Cathedral in 2016 in what prosecutors say was a failed jihadist attack. The women, now between the ages of 22 and 42, are charged with attempting to explode a vehicle laden with fuel-doused gas canisters in the shadow of the medieval monument in central Paris…. According to unnamed sources, the women had also been plotting other attacks and were looking at train stations in Paris and the city’s southern outskirts, as well as police officers, as potential targets…. One of the women, now 22, is considered the key player in the failed attack. She was just 18 when she and her co-defendants joined a channel on the social network Telegram that was run by one of France’s most notorious jihadists, who is believed to be linked to a gruesome attack on a French priest in Normandy and the killing of a French police couple at their home. According to court documents, the women sent the jihadist videos pledging their allegiance to the IS group. He is currently the subject of an international arrest warrant and will be tried in France in absentia. He is believed to have been killed by a drone strike in 2017 around the Iraqi city of Mosul, but while US authorities have confirmed his death no proof of death has been officially reported to the French courts. One of the defendant’s lawyers has previously said his client was vulnerable to the IS group’s recruitment efforts because she was “a girl in search of recognition and love”. Prosecutors say the attempted explosion could have killed dozens of people in one of the French capital’s most touristed neighbourhoods. It came after a string of Islamic extremist attacks that deeply shook France and hardened its security stance In spite of him defending Labour’s handling of the sex scandal, Winston knows what damage such things can do. He will be well aware that Labour’s polling is falling, and might want to take the opportunity to rebuild his own numbers to benefit from it. There have been many Labour MPs who have quietly applauded Peters piling into the issue this week, even though it can be seen as undue interference in another party’s business. There are probably even more people in National’s wider support base w

For most people, smartphones are probably the digital consumer goods that have had the most impact on them in the past 10 years, and the entire mobile phone industry has also experienced ups and downs. At that time, Nokia was still the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer. Apple iPhone just reached the fourth generation, and BlackBerry, Palm, and Microsoft also had their own mobile operating systems. Hundreds of flowers arguing with each other, it is wonderful. Now, whenever you walk into a mobile phone store, it is difficult to see overseas mobile phone brands other than Apple and Samsung. Crossing the counter, the signs of Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo will constantly enter the field of vision. Shopping guides tossed and tried to drink, but nothing more than these names. The new brand replaced the old-generation classic, and the mobile phone products themselves also changed in aesthetics and design methods. Most of them were brought about by technological breakthroughs and technological innovations, and some were fresh ideas explored at the software level. But in the process, we also had to wave goodbye to other designs. Plastic materials and small screens have become victims of high-end The reason for buying a mobile phone is far less complicated than we think. Whether it is performance, photography or storage specifications, the parameters are essentially hidden inside the fuselage. What really captures the first attention of consumers is still the appearance. In order to give higher prices, mobile phone manufacturers will also consciously use different materials and screen sizes to make their own products look closer to flagship devices. Some features that are difficult to highlight "high-end" and "quality" are gradually being abandoned in the process. This includes the plastic materials we are familiar with, as well as small screens. At one time, plastic was the most widely used chemical product in the mobile phone industry. After all, its cost was cheap enough, easy to mold, and it would not block antenna signals. The maturity of the processing technology allowed plastics to get rid of the perception of "cheapness. " For example, Apple's iPhone 5c and Nokia's Lumia series. In their hands, the thermoplastic material represented by polycarbonate has become the best choice for embellishing colorful colors, and even has a ceramic-like moist feel. But unfortunately, these new attempts have not given polycarbonate the same status as double-sided glass and aluminum alloy materials. In the inherent perception of most consumers, "metals and glass for high-end mobile phones and plastics for low-end mobile phones Has become a key factor in measuring the value of a product. A similar situation occurs in the understanding of the screen size of mobile phones. Today, you can hardly find a flagship configuration with mainstream manufacturers, but the screen size is about 5 inches, even the Redmi 8A, which costs 699 yuan, also uses a 6. 2-inch screen. In other words, the largest component on a mobile phone can no longer be used to distinguish between high-end and low-end products. It has already become a technology that even a thousand yuan machine can afford. Manufacturers have their own reasons for choosing a large screen. After all, the larger screen also brings more internal space, and these extra parts will basically be occupied by new components such as vibration motors, multiple cameras or wireless charging rings. Only by bringing these richer and better experiences can consumers open their wallets willingly. But are "outdated technologies" such as plastics and small screens worthless? They don't seem to be so absolute. After the rise of all-metal mobile phones, glass also fell out of favor for a while, but now, in order to take care of wireless charging and signals, manufacturers have pushed the glass back to the front desk again, bringing a more mature process. Similarly, if the screen folding technology is mature, we can change the size of the mobile phone as we want, and naturally, there will no longer be a "big screen" and "small screen" dispute. It is said that fashion is a classic reincarnation, and mobile phone design is not so. Mobile phones are increasingly pursuing integration, but they also erase a lot of humanity Smartphones are an industry that likes subtraction in appearance. From the product level, large screens allow mobile phones to gain more internal space, but manufacturers will still change the proportion of each component and squeeze out more. Available space. Looking back on the evolution of mobile phones in the past 10 years, you can also find that on the one hand, we have obtained a body with fewer gaps and stronger integration, as well as various wireless transmission technologies; but on the other hand, we can arbitrarily disassemble it The cell phone battery will press the physical button twice when it is okay, and the 3. 5mm headphone jack that accompanies us countless days and nights, and one by one disappear into our sight. Were they eliminated because no one wanted to use them? Obviously not. For users, this age-old technology can still solve many pain points. For example, the detachable battery can alleviate “lifetime anxiety”, instead of letting us connect a charging treasure like a hanging bottle; for example, the physical buttons, the ease of use and the low learning threshold are not comparable to gesture interaction of. However, users don't seem to have much choice in deciding whether technology is a life or death. Even if some people don't really like the changes, manufacturers will still give various reasons to try to persuade consumers to forget the old solution. Fortunately, certain changes do allow us to see a better side. Although the battery cannot be removed, thanks to the integrated design, mobile phone manufacturers can save more space to increase battery capacity and extend battery life, while also ensuring product safety and reliable structure. In addition, the advent of fast charging technology has greatly improved the efficiency of our mobile phone charging, and it can be regarded as a "time for space" solution. For physical buttons, its disappearance has replaced a screen with a larger field of view. Smartphones are still devices built around the screen, and since we can get used to typing with a full-touch keyboard, it doesn't seem particularly difficult to cut off a Home key. On the contrary, these are the volume key and the lock screen key. It is difficult to see the possibility of being replaced in a short time. Although on many waterfall screens mobile phones such as Vivo NEX3 and Huawei Mate30 Pro, we have already seen the design of replacing the volume keys with touch feedback, which means that there is no technical limit to cut off all mobile phone keys. But the root of the problem is not the mapping of the representational functions, but how to restore the perceptual feedback completely consistent with the physical keys, or how to simulate "real". iOS and Android dominate the software industry, they are no longer just phone systems 10 years ago, we not only saw many differences in the form of mobile phones. Even at the system level, users have more than iOS and Android to choose from. They all have their own strengths. For example, webOS uses a minimalist card-like UI as its core, while BlackBerry's BBOS and Microsoft's Windows Mobile focus on the business crowd, and the fleeting Nokia MeeGo is leading the way in pure gesture-free sliding interaction. But we haven't seen these alternative systems, even if many touch interactions are not the first of iOS or Android, but with a more mature application store system, they not only control the entire mobile software ecosystem but also reconstruct our use of mobile phones The way. In the end, with the exception of Apple itself, most manufacturers chose to enter the Android camp. They defeated the old generation of mobile phone brands and continued to compete with their surviving peers. However, until now, there are probably more similarities between these two systems than there are differences. Leaving aside the interface design, the system-level functions and interface styles of both are gradually converging, such as dark mode, various frosted glass effects, large white blocks, and rounded cards, and even the logic of gesture interaction is already there. It becomes standard on most smartphones. Rising to a larger level, such as the integration of mobile and desktop application ecosystems, developing emerging areas such as AI and AR, and grabbing business with film and television, music content platforms, etc., Apple and Google are in the same direction. At this moment, both iOS and Android systems have long been separated from the hardware. Instead of users choosing a mobile phone, it is better to embrace a whole set of services based on this platform. In the foreseeable future, there will be more hardware and services bound to the two systems. It can be your wristwatch, wireless earphones on your ears, or even home audio and TV. If you want to share this kind of ecological pattern, you can't achieve it by rebuilding a beautiful and easy-to-use system. What else can we expect in the next decade? It may be difficult for us to see consumer electronics devices like smartphones that can have a significant impact on everyone's life. It has been the fastest-growing 10 years. This communication tool, which was only used to call and send text messages, can now use personal PCs and other categories far away with its annual shipments of nearly 1. 4 billion units. The electronics were left behind. But as you have seen before, after a period of rapid development, the industry has reached a certain consensus on the understanding of h

Disclaimer: I'm trying to cram two months' worth of info in here, so please let me know if there are any important details or links I've left out. Thank you in advance for your time! --- This post will summarise everything we know so far about Persona 5 Royal. I've been using this as a master thread until now, but with it getting a bit cluttered (and also because some of the theories there have already been dis/ proven) I'm writing this to be a clean slate and starting point for future analyses. This also means that I'll try to be a bit more 'clinical' with the following write-up and keep the theorising to a minimum until the end, unless I feel there's enough evidence to make a strong case for a particular idea. If you want the unabridged run-down of everything, feel free to check out that link! I'll be dividing this post into four main sections, which will have their own subsections. Let's begin! --- STORY Characters There are at least two new characters being added with Atlus confirming there will be more: Kasumi Yoshizawa and Takuto Maruki: Kasumi Yoshizawa Kasumi is a first year at Shujin, meaning she joins at about the same time as Ren. She's a rythmic gymnast who made a name for herself even in middle school, meaning Shujin Academy also has high expectations for her. She is represented by the Faith Arcana, which comes from the oldest known version of the Tarot, the Visconti-Sforza deck. It doesn't match any of the existing Arcana, which is why its in-game graphic has no number. While she acknowledges that the Phantom Thieves are good people, the first thing we learned about her (in the March teaser trailer) was that she disagrees with their methods; she instead thinks people should be responsible for changing themselves in order to truly make a difference. That said, she still works with the Thieves, though Atlus says she does so to reach her own ends. As a Phantom Thief, she wields a rapier ( which Atlus points out is a weapon used for duelling, i. e. fighting foes honourably) and a lever action pistol. Her Persona is Cendrillon, the French version of Cinderella, and uses Bless and Phys Skills - we know for a fact that she can use Heat Wave and Kougaon. While her Persona may be the exact opposite of Arsene in looks and abilities, her Thief outfit was intentionally designed to resemble Joker's, hence the longcoat, gloves and red/ black colour scheme. As for her Confidant, we know from her trailer that one of her Ranks is set in the Yongen-Jaya batting cages while her Rank 4 ends outside a clothes shop in Kichijoji and unlocks the Chaines Wire ability (named after a gymnastics manouevre and allows long-range Ambushes). While her Confidant appears to cap at Rank 5, the fact that this event ends with "I feel a strong bond of trust from Kasumi" instead of "I have a deep bond of friendship/ I share a special bond with Kasumi" tells us Rank 4 is nowhere near the end. More likely is that the second half of her Confidant will unlock later in the story, e. g. after she ("truly") joins the Thieves, OR that her Arcana will transform for the second half as in P4G. Maybe the reason Rank 6+ have been hidden is because unlocking them is optional and you can only trigger an Arcana transformation through certain actions (and/ or which Arcana she changes to depends on how you treat her)? This incoming change may also be why her card appears damaged, which doesn't occur for anyone else - i. it's incomplete until your relationship with her heals/ fills in the gaps. (One suggestion is that the damage indicates her Arcana has been reversed, which in turn implies she represents having faith in the wrong things at the start of the story. ) Personality-wise, she's described as being stoic/ closed-off but is quite open around Ren, even playing around with him in Hawaii. She's also quite cheeky in the Metaverse, winking while performing a Follow-Up attack and having very relaxed poses when in combat, but admits to being nervous around and wanting to impress her senpais (this was also implied by her cosplayer emoting the exact same way at the end of both performances at the Persona Concert). She also has a massive appetite as shown to humourous effect in the Kasumi trailer and despite her gymnastic talent seems have slow reflexes if the batting cages event is any indicator. Her awkward posture with the bat suggests that not only is this her first time at the cages, she has no idea how baseball even works - which raises the question of what else she's been left ignorant of (either because she was too absorbed in her own activities like Makoto, or because she was never given the opportunity to try new things). In terms of the story, she introduces herself to Ren on May 30th ( though the May 9th Morgana Report suggests we'll encounter her at least once beforehand). We know from screenshots that she isn't in Futaba's Palace but IS in the Casino. She also complains about the public turning their back on the Thieves in the reveal trailer, which only happens after Okumura's Palace. I shared my thoughts in more detail here, but I believe Kasumi will get her Persona on September 6th (the day before the Hawaii trip) and make an alliance with the Thieves upon their return from Hawaii. For a bit more speculative talk: Kasumi can mean "mist" while Yoshizawa is the surname of the inventor of origami folding, which could be a reference to the illusion/ wish-fulfilment theme suggested by the reveal trailer (she wouldn't be the first character to be named after a literary or historic figure). Meanwhile, Ren (Joker's canon name) means "rain, " so having another wet weather-based name may be a further thematic link between the two. Also, she says she has fond memories of the aquarium in Kichijoji when you take her there as shown in the May 9th Morgana Report (and as mentioned above, Kichijoji is where her Rank 4 event ends), which implies she lives in or near the city. Takuto Maruki Takuto is a part-time counsellor who's hired by the school after the incident with Kamoshida, and is introduced to the students on Monday, May 9th (for context, Kamoshida confesses on May 2nd and exams start on May 11th). He will take some classes such as on the 16th, where he displaces a question you could answer for free Charm points with a lesson on the (most likely emotional) heart. He will have the Consultant Arcana, which is the El Gran Tarot Esoterico version of the Magician (which tells us he'll act as a guide/ close companion to Joker, as Morgana does). His Confidant can be advanced in the After School time slot and is stated to improve negotiation skills. He was designed to counterbalance the "teens good, adults bad" message of the core story though this hasn't stopped anyone from suspecting him to be the new big bad of the game. Of note is that Ryuji and Ann are explicitly called out as benefitting from interacting with him, though we don't know if this is purely because of their baggage with Kamoshida or if they'll continue to grow through him throughout the game. What we've seen of him suggests he's quite clumsy - he bumps his head against his mic after his introduction - and casual immature. The latter is suggested by his unbuttoned jacket and upturned collar, along with him wearing sandals to school and a seeming fondness of apple juice cartons if his official render is any indication. However, the students are said to like him because he's a good listener and "gives tactful advice, " so clearly his skill makes up for his outward appearances. The image on his Tarot card shows figures looking to an elderly sun for guidance, which helps drive home this aspect of himself. Speculation: His card shows people seeking "him" for aid, but also shows the people above the sun falling or being upset. This could either be part of Persona 5's more cynical interpretation of the Tarot or a hint at some sort of superiority complex (i. anyone who considers themselves as above him are wrong/ doomed to fail). Plot Additions/ Changes The biggest draw is that there will be a third semester added to the game (i. January to April), which means Joker doesn't get arrested in this version of the story. We're also told that the Metaverse will be around "in some way, " meaning it isn't destroyed for Christmas. Stepping back a bit, we know there's a new event on May 30th where Makoto runs an event to clean up Inokashira Park that Ren, Ryuji, Ann, Mishima and Haru attend (this is also where Kasumi introduces herself). There's also a voiced scene at a pancake shop in Kichijoji with Ren, Kasumi and Akechi, which is where the dialogue in the teaser trailer comes from. Morgana Report 2 implied there would be more Akechi scenes too. As far as fluff is concerned, we know Kasumi will be in Hawaii too (however, she's in a tracksuit, which implies she's either dedicated to fitness or is just there for a gymnastics event instead of a school trip). In terms of the main plot, not only will Kasumi be in the Casino, we know she and Joker will be alone for a segment of it, which implies the getaway sequence (and possibly the prologue) has been rewritten. Of course, for her to even be in the Casino means there's a scene inserted into the main story for her to get her Persona, which we see in her trailer. Said trailer also included a voiced scene of Ren treating her to a meal where she confesses to having "performance troubles, " possibly setting up her own Palace/ story arc. The reveal trailer also suggests there's now a stalker the group has to deal with, with the English dialogue heavily implying it to be Kasumi (i. Morgana asks "Isn't she acting suspicious? " while Kasumi is on-screen, though admittedly this could just be trailer misdirection). This trailer also showcase
