- ガス化溶融炉-
日本の主要な鉄鋼業者は日本政府を動かし、｢熱分解ガス化溶融炉｣という新技術を地方政府に押し付けた。
近代化で生まれたゴミを処理する夢の技術と地域の人々には説明した。具体的に、
�‐撞儚イ鰺呂�して小石のような塊にするので処理場がいらない。
�〒，醗貘硫修靴浸楡澆嚢圓Δ里婆蟻未�ない、またコストが安い。
�９皺垢杷馨討垢襪里妊瀬ぅ�キシンが発生しない。
と説明している。
しかし、高砂市に導入された炉は、
�� 一年半で24回もの事故
�� 工場内でダイオキシンが発生し、白い防護服での作業が必要。（写真参照）
�� コストも予定の倍以上
と説明に反するものであった。
問題は、この失敗した技術を日本の周辺部（離島、特に沖縄）やアジア（インドネシア）などに押し付けようとしていることである。
高砂市では、女性を中心にした粘り強い運動と議会活動により事故情報の開示とコストの明確化を勝ち取った。
ごみ問題はごみ発生の抑制を基本とするべきである。むやみに確定しない新技術に頼るべきではない。ガス化溶融炉問題はこのことを教訓としてくれる。また、アジアへの輸出を止めるために情報交換が必要である。

Failed Super technology
- Gasification Melting System-
Japanese major steel industries had the Government move, and it urged local government to use new technology, called gasification-melting system.
They explained to citizens that it is a modern technological super incinerator. Specifically, they explained
��There’s no need for disposal system, that is because the system melt incineration ash and then make something like small stone.��It enables us to lower in cost, that is because it melt incineration ash in unified facility.
��It incinerate ash so high heat that there’s no worry about dioxin.
But the incinerator which was innovated in Takasago-city, is in the following��It caused accidents more than 24 times for one and a half year.
��As it outbreaks dioxin in the incinerator, it is necessary to wear white security suit.
��The cost was high more than they had prospected.
The problem is that they are continuing to urge this incinerator to isolated islands (especially, Okinawa) and Asia (Indonesia) as well.
In Takasago city, they could have open details, and cost details. This shows garbage problems should be based on repression of the waste. Anyway, Gasification teaches we should not depend on new technology, recklessly. Also, we need to exchange ideas and details to stop exporting to Asia countries.
