This primitive is a request for the PHY to calculate the time required to transmit onto the WM a PPDU containing a specified length PSDU, and using a specified format, data rate, and signaling.

このプリミティブは記述したPSDU長を、フォーマット、データレート、シグナルを含んだWM PPDUで送信するのに必要な時間を計算するものである。

This primitive provides the following parameter:

PLME-TXTIME.request(
TXVECTOR
)

The TXVECTOR represents a list of parameters that the MAC sublayer provides to the local PHY entity in order to transmit a PSDU. The minimum required PHY parameters are listed in 8.3.4.4.

TXVECTGORはPSDUを送信するためにPHYエンティティにMACレイヤが提供するパラメータのリストである。
最小のPHYパラメータは8.3.4.4 Vector descriptionsに定義される。

This primitive is issued by the MAC sublayer to the PHY entity when the MAC sublayer needs to determine the time required to transmit a particular PSDU.

このプリミティブはMACレイヤからPHYエンティティに投げられる。MACレイヤがPSDU送信を必要としたとき、その時間を必要とするときに実行される。

The effect of receipt of this primitive by the PHY entity is to generate a PHY-TXTIME.confirm primitive that conveys the required transmission time.
