• Peak serum values occur within 60 to 90 minutes.
• Serum half-life is approximately 4 hours.

17歳以下の使用

0.5mg/kg を1日2回投与から開始し 2-4mg/kgまで上げる。1日16mg/kg/day以上は上げるべきでない。

18歳以上

大体120〜240mgの範囲で有効となるはず。

立位の収縮期血圧が90mmHg 拡張期血圧が60mmHgを下回らないようにする。・
安静時の脈拍数が60/minを下まわらないようにする。

中止する際には7〜14日ほどかける。低血糖　と　低血圧に注意する。

Interactions

• If used chlorpromazine,plasma levels of both drugs are increased over what they would be if used separately
• alcohol slows the rate of absorption of propranolol
• Phenytoin,Phenobarbital,and rifampin accelerate proplanolol clearance.
