He was focused on making more constructs to fuel his huture army. It seems he's made eneough that he feels he can actually use them. He took advantage of the rebels, lending them soldiers and equipment, so that they could destabilize both Askia and Behanzin. And by the sounds of it, the rebels gave him the royal weapons, too. He must have hoped to cripple the other countries, so that Teodros would have an easy time conquering Ibril. As for becoming Chancellor, that I do not know... But his magic is powerful. I imagine it wasn't difficult to fool everyone.
レムスは未来の戦争に備えて兵士となる構造物をさらに作ることに注力していたようだ。どうやら本当に大陸征服できるほど作ったようだ。
レムスは反乱軍を利用して兵士や装備を与え、アスキアとベハンジンの両方に補給をしたようだ。俺が調べた情報によると反乱軍に王家の武器を奪うよう命令したようだ。他の国々を無力化してテオドロスがイブリールを統一できることを計画したに違いない。
首相になったことについては俺にはわからない。だがレムスの魔法は強力だ。臣下を調略することは難しくはないだろう。
If he is so powerful, why didn't he simply kill the other kings himself ?
彼がそれほど強いなら なぜ彼は他の王たちを自分で殺さなかったのだろうか？
I cannot speak to his true intentions, but I have several educated guesses. He views Teodros like a god. To him, the other kings were like demons. I imagine he fearedthem and their royal weapons when they were alive. In addition, if he killed the kings himself, then he would be stealing glory from Teodros that he thinks he deserves. But you will have to ask him for his reasons yourselves later. The reasoning of an insane man is beyond me.
レムスの真意はわからないが推測はできる。彼はテオドロス１世を神のように見ている。他の王たちを悪魔と考えている。王の戦争中、他の王と王の武器を恐れていた。そして自分が王たちを殺した場合、テオドロスの名誉を汚すことになると考えているのだろう。
