| ●メダカ大池(日下川調整池) | 14ヘクタールの洪水調整用の池で、県下最大規模の内陸型湿地で、メダカやライギョ、 チョウトンボやカワセミ、湿地性植物など、自然の宝庫です。メダカ池やアジサイ街道が 整備され、メダカさん家を中心に、子ども達の自然体験教室も開催されています。 Kusaka River Pond Kusaka River Pond has a 14 hectare capacity and is the largest scale pond in Kochi prefecture. It is classified as an inland wetlands area. Many natural creatures and plants, such as the medaka(killifish), raigyo(snake-head), tyo-tombo(dragonfly), and kawasemi(common-Indian-kingfisher) can be seen here. Visitors can enjoy the rich nature around this area on a scenic walk along the "Ajisai" road.
