SNOW

dedicated to Pushkin (1799-1837)

To sow the seeds of freedom alone
I left home earlier than the morning star (Pushkin)

When the morning star began to be seen faintly

The heart's last dripping told

the death of the poet in the ear

water watches the mirror

preparing the table

lips tremble

tears without knowing where to go

pour out together with snow

gleams that the earth has never seen

are at loss in the coagulated wound

now the poet does not belong

to the frozen land

oblivion in a single file

still aims

at the soul thrown out

on a silver morning
