Since most of us can talk faster than we type on our phones, Google Maps for Android has a few ways you can save time by using your voice.
When entering a search, you can click the microphone icon to speak what you’re looking for, such as Cinema Brasserie.
There’s an even quicker way to view maps and get turn-by-turn navigation with voice actions.
You can tap the microphone on the homescreen of your Android-powered device, give a command such as “Navigate to Brooklyn Bowl” and in moments you have directions to your destination.
If you just need to see a map, all you need to do is say so: ”Map of Iceland”.
And there you go.
Speak what you need and where you need to go with Google Maps for Android.
