My name is Micaela and I haven’t left my Japanese こたつ since last year.
But is it really my fault?…I mean traveling anywhere these days is so expensive.
Anytime you go somewhere new you have to budget for like a hotel and transportation and food and fun and all adds up really fast.
If you’re interested in traveling through Japan but you don’t want to spend a lot of money well then maybe this video will be useful for you.
While I was traveling in 品川 last week I came across a very interesting traveler.
M: I guess this is your first time in Japan?
T: Yeah!
M: Oh, Cool!
M: So everything is like absolutely brand new…?
T: Yeah, it is…
T: Tokyo is pretty overwhelming…
M: Yeah
M:昨日着いて、自転車買って、で、もうこれから自転車で今日東京に向かって・・いきます
M:で、２時かしか寝てないって
M: Really?
M: Like…yeah…
M:たぶんそうです・・
T: …in Germany we have around minus 6… minus 8 degrees right now…
M:なんかドイツのほうが寒いから
It’s not rare to come across bicycles in Japan and if you are bicycling around a town you save a lot of money on transportation.
