地球中心説宣伝映画The Principle
The Principleは2014年に地球中心論者Robert Sungenisが制作した地球中心説宣伝ドキュメンタリー映画である。
Ben Steinのインテリジェントデザイン宣伝映画Expelledと同じく、映画の趣旨を説明せずに、科学者にインタビューを行って制作されている。The Principleでは、Lawrence Krauss, Michio Kaku, Max Tegmark, Julian Barbour, and George F. R. Ellisがその被害にあい、制作サイドに抗議している。さらに、Expelledと違って、ナレーターも騙されて声をあてていた。
若い地球の創造論者の反応
なお、この映画に対する、若い地球の創造論者たちの一般的な反応は、ネガティブである。
科学者たちと違って、制作者が地球中心論者であることを知りながら、インタビューを受けた創造論者Hartnettは微妙なダメコン言い訳を書いている。
物理学者でもある創造論者JG Hartnettよりも、地球中心論者Sungenisの方が、手練れだったようだ。

Kate Mulgrew, aka Captain Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager, has claimed that she was tricked into taking part in new geocentric documentary The Principle, which promotes the long discredited theory that the sun in fact revolves around the Earth.
Mulgrew, who currently stars as Red in Netflix prison drama Orange is the New Black, posted an explanation on her Facebook page: "I am not a geocentrist, nor am I in any way a proponent of geocentrism. More importantly, I do not subscribe to anything Robert Sungenis has written regarding science and history and, had I known of his involvement, would most certainly have avoided this documentary."
“I was a voice for hire, and a misinformed one, at that. I apologise for any confusion that my voice on this trailer may have caused," she added.
Kate Mulgrew 別名スタートレックヴォイジャーのジェインウェイ艦長は、新たな地球中心説ドキュメンタリーに騙されて出演させられたと主張している。
現在、Netflixの刑務所ドラマ"Orange is the New Black"にRedとして主演しているMulgrewは、本人のFacebookページに「私は地球中心論者ではなく、いかなる形でも地球中心説の支持者ではない。そして重要なことは、Robert Sungenisが科学と歴史について書いた本を読んでいて、彼の映画への関与を知っていたら、このドキュメンタリーに確実に出ていなかっただろう」という説明をポストした。

The Principle is a defense of an absolute geocentric model, in which the entire universe moves around the Earth. This form of geocentric belief has gained some popularity in recent years, but we at Answers in Genesis are opposed to it.

I agreed to be interviewed because I believed that this subject needed to be debated and I wanted to present a biblical creationist non-geocentric point of view, which still permits our planet Earth to be in a special place in the Universe. That does not mean that it is stationary and that it is in the unique centre of the cosmos. ... At the time I agreed to be interviewed, I did know that the producers were geocentrists but they assured me they would present a balanced debate, where all sides were aired. Actually, I wanted to help because, maybe naïvely, I believed it could get a good strike against the cosmological principle dominating paradigm.
